no we need to throw, thats the problem with us now is that we dont have enuff faith in the players with the talent, just let the guys go out there and play because we probably have the most gifted team in the nation, u think Urban Meyer cared that Percy Harvin had no college experience this season... nope... he was a true freshman and the reason why the Gators won the championship, The game has changed, conservatism does not win championships, In order to be in contention for championships we have to get it to the guys who can make plays and our big playmakers are at receiver
thats because your knowledge of today's game doesnt exist, Harvin picked up crucial first downs that led the gators to eventual game winning touchdowns against Georgia, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee last season, ok ok he's not the soul reason but without him FLA mite have lost a couple more games this season
well when they make u head coach and u start winning championships for us then i will allow u to insult my insane statements without a response from me, until then u can either continue to argue with me about this pointless situation or u can just let me state what i think they should do to win
no we need to run more and pass on third downs and when we are behind. Run sets up the pass. Our clock management sucked this past year too. Running the ball=good clock management.
UT had it's lowest rushing total in years last season. That led to us not being able to close out some games that we otherwise would have won. LSU and Florida are the two obvious examples. If we are able to run the ball next year, then we need to do it. We shouldn't throw as much as we did last year, unless we are forced into that situation. That's not how winnning is done in the SEC.
Way too predictable. You are preaching Johnny ball, run, run, pass, punt. We need to go back to the days of the Heath Shuler offenses, 5 wide and let it fly. We also had a good running game then too. I prefer a wide open attack that stretches the field. Note to Cutcliffe... I am talking about stretching the field HORIZONTALLY, not vertically. If the sidelines were the end zone, we would have scored 1,000 points last year. Fulmer needs to get O'Neal, Vinson, G. Jones, etc...on the field and the ball in their hands next year. i think they would be a marked improvement over Lucas Taylor, Josh Briscoe, Austin Rogers, etc... And what ever happened to Slick Shelley???
