Les Miles to Michigan? (Merged)

This if anything should make our fanbase feel alot better about the turmoil and rejection of the past two years. Possibly two former UM players rejecting jobs for such a high profile job has to be a huge slap in the face..

I just heard off people on twitter saying that Les Miles is taking the Michigan job, and that LSU is supposedly in talks with Bo Pelini...

Not sure who is lying and who is for real, but these rumors are really starting to wear on me....I just want a coach and want one soon.

I get the impression that Michigan is way more screwed up than Tennessee. They are going to be paying for the RR mistake for a while, maybe that's why the rejection.

An Ohio State fan here at work has the perfect analogy as to why Les Miles should not leave LSU for Michigan. He said Les Miles currently has the athletes to allow him to make decisions that most people learn not to make playing video games. That was exactly how I felt, but I love the video game analogy.

I heard the same thing off of a bunch of people on twitter and then LSUFreek tweeted that Russell Shepard told a reports that Les Miles reassured the team he would be back at LSU....

Not sure what is going on, but all these rumors are getting annoying.

I really don't think Les Miles is the answer for your situation.

The Ohio State fan should be dreaming about Les trying to coach that UM team..

Les implemented a cheat code for our game in Baton Rouge :)

Les Miles isn't saying anything concerning the job.

It's hard to guess what is going on his mind.

its going to take a couple days, but Michigan can't afford to miss on Les Miles. They will throw everything they have at him.

Will LSU match?

not if they think they can get Bo Pelini or Jimbo Fisher.

You can say a lot of things about Miles, but one of those things is that he wins--a lot. At Oky State and now LSU. He must be doing a lot of things right.

"LSU is great and UM is great also. The difference in the two is really a non issue as I have no issues. I love them both and hope that the issues that they both have are not issues that become issues in the future. I really want to think about the thoughts that I'm thinking and think some more. There is no place that I would rather be but I cant think of a better place to be"

Makes a ton of bonehead decisions in crucial times of games but 99.9% of the time ends up looking like a genius.

Point taken though, hasn't stopped working yet.

Les' actual words? If so, wow. Just.....wow.

After losing out on the Harbaugh sweepstakes (were we ever in them even), I am pretty much a toss up between Miles and Hoke. I think Hoke would care more, but Miles brings the "wow" factor and some good recruiting. I think our AD has wasted enough time with this coach search with the way we are losing recruits. I think Miles can maybe help salvage some of those recruits, and I think he will try to work with Denard as our QB.

Hoke would walk from San Diego to Ann Arbor for the job, but I think his job chances aren't as high as the media is portraying.

That is very true. His luck has not run out yet and hopefully he still has a deal with the devil for a few more years, cause my Michigan squad needs a turnaround in the worst way.
