exactly. there's no way he turns it down this time. If it's his dream job he cant turn it down twice.. he has to know that if he turns it down again now.. they will never come calling again.
Buyout isn't the reason LSU won't be interested in Dooley.

He was supposedly never offered the job when DoubleR took it. Miles was the one calling Michigan, but never got a return call. Just used it as leverage for a better payday.
Looks like we will find out tomorrow who will be running the show in AA.

You'd better hope it's not Les Miles. I'd hire Brady Hoke before I ever gave Miles a second thought.
With that said, I'm guessing Miles will be the guy at UM. If that happens, LSU needs to give Charlie Strong a call IMO.
You guys do realize that we were all saying the same thing about Lane Kiffin when the SC job opened up, right? Derek Dooley to LSU is about as far fetched as Lane Kiffin to USC was last year. NOTHING surprises me anymore with college athletics. As much as we do not want to realize it, Derek Dooley taking over at LSU if Miles does, in fact, leave is a real possibility. Who else would they go after? Remember, LSU would be in the same exact situation as Tennessee and USC was last year. Scrambling, trying to find a coach to hold the recruiting class together. Both having to "settle" on their third or fourth choice. Well.... Derek Dooley could be that choice.
