They'll definitely go after Pelini but I'm not sure he'd leave Nebraska. He's got the Huskers back on track.

He'd be stupid to spurn LSU for TCU, no matter how easy the Big East is, there's no certainty they'd be in a nat'l championship. At LSU he has an elite team waiting for him.

we regular blew ripley(and covington,JCM,millington and many times germantown) out in my day:)

we got beat by brentwood academy(private shool:rolleyes:) two years in a row,senior year we lost to the riverdale hillbillies in the 5A title game:censored:

I don't see Patterson going,, salaries are almost the same. Now Pelini would get a huge bump to go there,, he makes less than Dooley by about 300k. Dooley is listed at about 2.1 with endorsements,, Pelini at 1.7

Tigerdroppings.com is on the verge of having a meltdown. Many LSU fans are beginning to believe that he is gone, and some of the posters with "sources" have said that he is likely gone. This is getting very interesting.

i just don't understand why LSU fans would be freaking out if he left?? with all that talent, that job is VERY attractive.

I'm saying the same thing. LSU should be able to find a very good replacement. The bad thing is that this would be happening for LSU at a bad time, just like it happened to us last year.

they have enough talent in the cubbard that an off year in recruiting would not hurt that bad.

I think they do too. It's going to be interesting to see who LSU could get to coach them with all that talent, if Les Miles decides to leave.
