Rex, lets stay positive. If he comes to UT, then we celebrate because we will have a team capable to win a NC.
If he goes to UNC, then I expect a "THE RICH GET RICHER" thread from ya. :good!:

leslie is gonna visit knoxville again this summer. dunno if it'll be official or unofficial. i just asked him if he was gonna make it to knoxville anytime soon and he said yea this summer. hopefully the players can persuade him and make him become a vol!

He and Kenny Hall both dropped significantly in the rivals150, McDonald now a 4star and out of the top 30. Doesn't make much difference, just thought I'd let you all know.

In an article on Rivals today, Leslie said:

"My top-five is pretty firm, Memphis, Duke, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgetown are the schools I'm serious about. I'm going to probably take a few unofficial visits this summer to help sort things out and then get ready to make a decision in the fall."

Also says that he might attend Tennessee's Elite Camp in June. Im hopin Bruce can work his magic with this one because year in and year out Memphis has top-tier talent and we haven't made much of a dent yet. Leslie would be huge, im keepin my fingers crossed.

i dunno tennessee has screwed one of our assistant coaches over 3 years in a row now. so they def. arent helping the cause by doing that.

Unless he lost his current job that's called getting passed over, not screwed over.

He wasn't screwed over at all. He is still only three or four years out of college. He has plenty of time to get that job.
It's not going to affect Leslie's decision one bit.

I really think Leslie is going to pick Tennessee over Memphis and the other schools that are pursuing him. I met CBP here last year while on a recruiting trip here to visit Mcdonald. I don't think Cal is aggresively pursuing Mcdonald and Duke has seem to lost its mojo. CBP really wants this kid and I think Tennessee is where he lands when it is all said and done !

Memphis isn't our competition. UNC and Duke are.

Sorry but just because they are listed doesn't mean they are serious contenders. Memphis has no chance.

its not gonna affect Leslie's decision cause the coach would'nt do a thing like that, but if tennessee would've gave the coach the job then their telephone convo's would be considered friend convo's and not coach to player convos. and on top of that the coach has great basketball connections up in knoxville. but he is going to work a camp at georgetown this summer and is more than likely gonna join their staff. so if he can make it at georgetown then he could make it at tennessee.

Memphis is recruiting Leslie so he won't go to Tennessee. They do not care one bit if he comes to Memphis, Duke, North Carolina, or Tennessee. However, they will continue to talk to him and recruit him just so he will not go to Tennessee. It is the same thing they did to Elliot Williams. There only intention is to make sure he does not join the Big Orange.
