Lets Hear Your Possible Wildcard HC

Mike Macintyre from San Jose State. Took over a program in absolute disarray. In his 3rd year, here is his record.

2010 San Jose State 1–12
2011 San Jose State 5–7
2012 San Jose State 8–2

Mike MacIntyre, San Jose State.

Yep, had mentioned him earlier. Have been really impressed with him ever since I watched them play Stanford this year. Hart would probably be run out of town though if he hired another WAC coach with a losing record.

I had mentioned him a couple of weeks ago in the NCAA forum for the UK job.

His dad is George MacIntyre, former Vandy Coach.

anybody opposed to randy shannon? from reading the reports of the whole Miami scandal he told his players not to talk to that booster and alot of the stuff was done on larry cokers watch... just throwing it out there feel free to throw it back at me

I have a couple idea's that are outside the box.

Jack Del Rio who has been an NFL head coach. Strikes me as a great recruiter and runs a defense that would be great in the SEC. (edit- hadnt made it to page three, guy above me said Del Rio as well.)

Mike Nolen, DC of the Falcons has had great defenses everywhere he went. Would allow us to hire a young OC to run the show.

Gary Andersen at Utah State. Darn good coach who took USU to their first bowl in 14 years last year and is taking them to another one this year. Also, winning career record IIRC.

after reading all the different threads of possible candidates in this forum it seems that every candidate has about half the fans that want him and half that
are against each coach. he(l at this point i'd take bozo the clown over what we have presently. bozo at least knows how to call a time out

These are the guys out of left field:

1) Rex Ryan. He is charismatic, would bring instant recruiting success due to sheer personality, and can coach very well. I think he will be looking for a job after this year. Would have to tone down the foot fetish thing though.

2) Andy Reid. Has all the credentials and will be looking for a job as well. Honestly I see him in Cleveland.

3) Frank Solich. He's winning in Ohio.

4) Bo Pelini. Knows the SEC and is winning in the wasteland of Nebraska. Kind of surprised his name hasnt come up.

5) Steve Sarkisian. I think he is an excellent coach and would love to make the jump to the SEC.

How do you know this???????

Marone from Syracuse- coached tight ends under Fulmer and has ties to UT.

What's he been doing since UM firing?

What about taking Bob Stoops from OK? He is a proven winner and he would flourish in the SEC. Plus lots of connections out west for recruiting...

Dave Doeren
Pat Fitzgerald
Gary Anderson from Utah State

Heard a rumor that Gary Anderson has actually interviewed for the UT job recently. TIFWIW no idea on reliability but it was said to come from Gary Anderson to a close friend.
