Life may be short

well it is like walking thru mud,it seems like stuff is taking so long to get done

it is everyday, every minute,it just doesn't let up much at all,it is on my mind all the time

and these weird ass dreams lately aren't helping,my dead relatives are there, helping me build or buy something or are they calling to me ?

or telling me to buy a new place to live ? :) who knows lol

We're pulling and praying for you. You're just not getting deep sleep and good rest. It'll get better, just keep on keeping on😍.

Hey, in the USAF back in 73-77, I used to work in the Hospitals(Wright Patterson AFB) etc. as a DIET Therapist. Had to know all about how to maintain patients nutritional needs and assist in all phases of meal planning for people who were extremely ill or unable to eat naturally.

I've forgot everything I ever knew almost about nutrition but back then I was a pretty damn good at keeping people eating when all they wanted to do was puke.

We had some mighty ill soldiers from all the crap they got into in Vietnam. I hated that job at the time. Now, I look back and see it wasn't so bad, but for a young farm kid, working in a medical setting was hell.

long story short, NO beer GMULE. sorry. lol

And another true story for ya , Gmule.

In 87, I almost blew my left arm off in a work accident. Had to spend a month with my arm sewed up into my belly/waist, my work buddies would come check on me every few days and always asked what I wanted. I told them a beer. Next time they came by, they'd snuck in a 6 pack with them. Boy, that was the best beer ever, till the Doctors walked in on us. . good ole boys they were. :)

PEG: Stands for percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy, a surgical procedure for placing a feeding tube without having to perform an open laparotomy (operation on the abdomen). The aim of PEG is to feed those who cannot swallow. PEG may be done by a surgeon, otolaryngologist (ENT specialist) or gastroenterologist (GI specialist). It is done in a. hospital or outpatient surgical facility. Local anesthesia (usually lidocaine or another spray) is used to anesthetize the throat. An endoscope (a flexible, lighted instrument) is passed through the mouth, throat and esophagus to the stomach. The surgeon then makes a small incision (cut) in the skin of the abdomen and pushes an intravenous cannula (an IV tube) through the skin into the stomach and sutures (ties) it in place. The patient can usually go home the same day or the next morning. Possible complications include wound infection and dislodging or malfunction of the tube. PEG takes less time, carries less risk and costs less than a classic surgical gastrostomy which requires opening the abdomen.

Hang in there G'mule💕💕🙏🙏💕💕🙏🙏

Mule, I'm sorry I haven't seen this thread before now. I don't poke into the LV forum too often. Don't get me wrong, I love the LadyVols, I just never feel like I have much to contribute to the conversation, lol.

Honestly though, I understand what you're feeling. Not too long ago, I felt the same. There are still days I feel like that. Every new little ache or pain, and I can't help but wonder if my body is rejecting this liver. But, through it all, I just keep pushing. Laying down and giving up just isn't an option. Even in darkness, though you may not see them, you don't walk alone.

My thought process is simple. Live or die, I fought. So that's my advice to you. Fight, and fight hard. Know that you are loved, and allow that love to help guide you.

You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I know you can fight through this. It won't be easy, I know that all too well, but you can beat this.
