Limit the gray uni

That's not us guys. The replays and still photos of the UGA game irk me just a little. I have no problem with using the Gray uni once a year but no more than that. We are orange and white. That's our brand. And, yes i know that our performance on the field is what is most important. Flame away :machgun:

Also, according to the University of Tennessee Brand Book, smokey grey is another color of ours.

I would love to see us wear a modern version of these too:

I always think of them as the Condredge unis. Would be great for neutral field games or even away games if we could get away with it. I think if they were really sharp they could be an extra reward for making it to a bowl.

I really liked those, but I imagine the traditionalists of that day probably didn't care for it. If a kid doesn't "bleed" orange, are they gonna give their "all for Tennessee" today? Oh, well. Go Big Orange!

I like the gray and nobody can say it didn't add some much needed swagger. Next time we need to go with gray armor helmets.

Gray Helmets would have been killer....the Uins were cool but that white helmet just really didn't look right.

and I would like to see a well done Black and Orange uni. not something just thrown together at the last moment...but something real nice and planed.

I have always liked the orange tops/white bottoms and the all white. But the new uniforms add excitement for everyone. I have to say Oregon built their program on their crazy uniforms. It not only gets the players and the fans up but the recruits also take notice too. I dont see any reason not to have fun with uniforms from every now and then.

Me too. Seems silly that the thing that got fans and recruits so excited is the fact that we looked nothing like UT yesterday. Hopefully they'll be sensible and limit those to once a year.

They are so extensive on what they do with uniforms that their tickets for each game advise the crowd what color to wear for said game. I love that and think it really adds to the fan participation aspect of attending games. Not to mention licensed apparel sales. eace2:

I loved the gray jerseys. Ut needs a change. I love the tradition, but ut style is very out-dated. Needed something more current, I think the gray, and even the black jerseys were awesome. I would love to see the gray jerseys, and black jerseys once a year.
