LIO Talks Rasslin

I disagree for one reason. There was really nobody else there to push. As great as Angle and Benoit are, they're both charismatically limited. Orton is too young. Edge is an idiot. Flair and HBK just can't go every night anymore. Once SCSA and Rock departed, HHH was really the only guy they could turn to for legitimate heat. As an aside, I'm not going to rip a guy for bedding down with a fairly attractive young millionairess.

Is Jericho still around? He may have been an option. By the way, I found your avatar.

He's off doing the Rock 'n Roll thing with his band. My guess is he will be brought back as part of the new ECW.

i think he quit to pursue a rock band. by the way he cannot sing

He was in a SCI/FI movie recently.....pretty bad actor.Alien Apocalypse

Although I had the pleasure of meeting him. I used to work for the minor league hockey team in Lexington, Kentucky and my boss was a huge wrestling fan so we kept wrestling merchandise in our retail store.

Jericho was in before a WCW show to sign autographs so we got to talk to him and we gave him one of our replica jerseys and he wore it out on tv the next night.

Also got to meet the Legion of Doom, huge hockey fans by the way, but either of them were the nicest people you would ever want to meet.

*Actually we got to meet a lot of people from WWE and WCW. Once met the chairman of the WWE ol' Vincy as he was walking out of Rupp Arena after a show. He just quietly walked across the concourse area to the hotel.

Steve Austin stopped in our retail store and came in and looked at the official Stone Cold Steve Austin boxers we had for sale.

He smiled and said that is awesome and started to carry on a conversation with us. But I will stop relieving my childhood....

Great Pictures OE!

My favorite Tag Team Was Demolition.

Hogan was one of my favs, he still gets pop, and sad to say I would probably mark out if I were at an event that he came out at.

I liked the early version of the nWo. Hall, Nash, Hogan and it was great to watch them "steal" WWF guys each week as new members joined.

Goldust is a very entertaining character. I've talked to Dustin Runnels a few times coming through the airport. He's nice.

I have autographs of Hogan, Legion of Doom, Rugged Ronnie Garvin, Nikoli Volkof, and a bunch of other guys that were at a Kingsport, FunFest event years ago. No one HUGE, but a couple of classic guys.

I met Dustin and his former wife? after a WWF show at Rupp Arena. I thought his wife was a 5 year old, exaggeration meant to convey a point, that she was tiny every where but he chest area.

Thru my job with the hockey team we had credentials to get into Rupp so before their shows we would back to the loading dock area and saw them set up every thing and saw the wrestlers come in.

I was suprised how tall Jimmy Hart really is. I 6ft tall and he was every bit as big as I am.

We also got to see Hogan film a bathroom scene during the Warrior fued.....great stuff..........

Demolition=Cheap LOD ripoff. Mr. Fuji was the only redeeming part of that gimmick.

Man, wrestling really has declined with all the big names slowly slipping out.

Wrestling has always been cyclical. There's a boom, then a lull. I'm sure in a couple of years a few gimmicks will catch on and wrestling will be hot again.
