List of free agents, where will they go?

Titans wont ever win a Super Bowl. Period. They let players go and dont sign really good ones. And if they have Vince Young as their qb of the future what a joke. This isnt college football where the qb can run and win ie Tebow also. He did help win 8 games last year but of those 8 wins he only played 3 playoff teams and lost badly to The Colts and Chargers, they beat Arizona with Kurt W in street clothes. When they play good teams like they play in playoffs the Titans will get beat. Vince Young isnt a NFL qb period.

Tebows issues are his very slow release due to his throwing motion and the fact that he thinks he just plow into anyone on the field, and these guys are at the peak of physical condition unlike the guys he played in college, so he will get hurt eventually

Vince doesnt do that

Just because a team doesnt sign big names doesnt mean they're bad at free agency: see the steelers

alot of teams just go after who fits their system best

Steelers and Texans are going after Leigh Bodden.

I hope the Pats can keep him.

T.O. ends up in Cincy with a two year deal I think. I also heard that Derrick Mason is drawing interest from the Miami Dolphins and that New England might try and make a run at him.

Considering how the Pats completely whiffed on Anquan Boldin, I can't see them passing up Derrick Mason.

With Wes Welker out for 3/4 of the year next season, they are going to need some WR's.

A 35 year old David Patten, Slater, Edelman, Aiken, and Moss can only do so much.

I would like to see Mason return to the Titans. I'm sure that won't happen though.

Wes Welker is not going to miss 3/4 of the season next year, first of all. Secondly, the Pats may look to the draft for a receiver rather than signing an old vet like Mason. Just my two cents on all of that.

they were actually bringing in and talking to former Buffalo Bills WR Josh Reed (you guys remember him from LSU probably)

so maybe look for them to go in that direction

Wasn't aware of that. Scratch what I said then.

Wes Welker is not going to contribute for most of the season, let's leave it at that. Randy Moss is a lot weaker without Welker. CBB won't look to the draft, not when half of the WR corps is extremely young, and NE has literally no Tight Ends. At this point NE has:

1. Moss
2. Edelman [Young]
3. Aiken [Young]
4. Slater [Young]
5. Tate [Young]
6. Patten [Old]
7. Injured WW

Possible options:
1. TO
2. Trade for Marshall
3. Reed coming in Mon.
4. Last resort [Mason/Holt]

1) Can't see TO in the same locker room as Randy Moss without a massive team chemistry explosion (On a sidenote, couldn't see him in the same locker room as Ochocinco, either).
2) See #1
3) Might take Reed
4) If I had to pick, I personally would take Holt. JMO

Again, just my two cents.

At this point, the FO is unpredictable, but I can't see them going to draft for WR/TE.

Agreed. Would NE be willing to extend Marshall's contract if they did get him, though? That is what I want to know.

I wouldn't think so, that's why they lost out on Boldin. The FO wanted a Moss like deal/1 year.

Seattle just flew Marshall in today

actually, the main competitors for Marshall are felt to most likely be Seattle and Cincinnatti

he has first round tender anyways, so whoever goes after him would have to be willing to give up their 1st round pick to the Broncos; not sure how willing New England would be for that this season

I really think that Reed is more likely than them going after Marshall honestly, imo

Knowing the way CBB has worked in recent years, you are probably right, and that is unfortunate as there is an urgent need for some talent at WR. The Jets will carve the Pats up if Moss doesn't get any help.

Also apparently the Eagles picked up the bonus for Vick

though sources from two teams expect him to be dealt in the preseason

really? I mean i know revis is going to be shutting moss down one way or another; he tends to do that

but i'm not so sure the Jets are sound enough on offense to say they'd carve them up

With the trades that the Jets are pulling out of no where, don't be surprised. Moss can be shut down Revis or no Revis, and with no other TEs or WRs, it would be even worse.
