*****Live NFL Draft Discussion thread

They do? I’m more than happy to be wrong here but I can’t say that I remember anything offensively out of the Lions in recent history.

They also said Goff has no guaranteed money, is basically on the trailing end of his contract. So it’s a chance to gracefully transition into the starting job

Honestly speaking, Hook has this year to show the Lions he is the man.

As you say, Goff is gone after this year.

2024 it will be either Hook or a QB they choose to draft in the first next year.

That is the reality of Hooks situation now. He is smart enough to realize this.

Ball out brother and make us proud.

5 Vols in the first 3 rounds.

Having been a teen in the 90's, it's starting to feel like my birthright is being reclaimed.

I love Heupels momentum. It will undoubtedly be proclaimed as 'Look what we are building!'.

I'll never forgive the used car salesman for trying to placate and temper expectations with 'Look what we lost!', after 2016.

Funny how fate is Hooker, Hyatt and Tillman all got put in good situations on teams drafting for need.

Hooker won't be needed for 1-2 years so won't be forced into anything before his ACL is healed and the loins have a nice group of young players on an exciting offense.

Hyatt and Tillan both go to a team that literally needs a player exactly like them. The giants need someone to take the top off offenses to open up the run game. The Browns need a physical outside guy. #blessing in disguise?

lol. The draft party at Trenton Simpsons place has all the atmosphere of a funeral when get was picked

Edit- never mind. I guess they showed the footage before the announcement was made when he was talking on the phone?
