*****Live NFL Draft Discussion thread

Atlanta is filling their needs and the offensive lineman from Syracuse in the second round was a bit of a surprise.

I am sure that former Falcons defensive end Tim Green appreciated that selection from his alma mater.

I was just thinking this. Wonder what the money difference is for Hyatt at this point falling into the 3rd at best as opposed to coming back to Tennessee and collecting nil cash. Oh well, too late now.
NFL minimum salary is 1.065M this year so better to be drafted I think.

His nil evaluation prior to the Hyatt hotels deal was $818 thousand. Then, takes a look at this from si.com; so I’m not sure how much cash he actually walked away with from nil deals in college but it seems like he was bringing in quite a bit.

I'd be careful with the terms being used like "estimated" & "impressions" but on the surface it looks like you are correct but I I know commercials are largely paid through residuals. So it would be partially determined by the running length & volume of the campaign. Frankly, I don't understand how influencers are paid so you'd have to educate me on that matter.

That’s what I was saying though, I don’t know exactly how all that actually works or exactly how much money he actually walked away with either. Glad it all worked out for him though, 3rd round isn’t too shabby and now he can go prove himself and earn a bigger contract in a few years.

Still making more being drafted. Probably around $1million signing bonus and $5million contract.
As for NIL his biggest was with the Hyatt Hotels. No reason that won't switch from being NIL to an endorsement and probably more.
NY is a big market with lots on Hyatt based hotels.
He'll be fine money wise, better off with NFL than NIL

Speaking of NIL. I wouldn't be surprised to see Congress stick their noses in it or it eventually gets to D1 schools or schools that bring in X $ have to make players employees and pay them and then the whole can of worms is finally open.

NIL was supposed to be players being able to make a couple of bucks off signing memorabilia, may be do a local commercial for $500-1000 and may be get paid a fee off video games like NCAA Football. The way it's being used now is wink wink, sign here and here to come and play for this school

Titans - levis starter day 1 😄
Biggest winners and my favorite picks from Rounds 2 and 3

i
Tennessee Titans
The picks: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky (No. 33); Tyjae Spears, RB, Tulane (No. 81)

C'mon, after Levis dropped out of Round 1, you knew I'd have the team that picked him listed among the Day 2 winners. I really believe Levis is going to be a productive, early starter, and it could be as soon as Week 1 this season. Tennessee has veteran Ryan Tannehill, but he's owed no guaranteed money in 2023. He could be released before the season. Malik Willis, a third-rounder last year, was drafted by former general manager Jon Robinson. Levis has a chance to come in and compete and try to win the job.

Why do I believe in Levis' ability? Because he can do everything at a high level, even if he was reckless at times last season. He's tough, has a stellar arm, is accurate when he has time to throw and can escape the pocket and pick up first downs with his legs. With NFL-level talent around him, he's going to be even better. Plus, here's a fun reminder, from ESPN Stats & Info: Levis is the first quarterback selected No. 33 overall since Brett Favre in 1991.

With Levis in Round 2 and offensive lineman Peter Skoronski in Round 1, I like what general manager Ran Carthon is building. Now, all eyes are on the AFC South quarterbacks as Houston (C.J. Stroud) and Indianapolis (Anthony Richardson) also made additions.

Will Levis explains itself but the running back with no cartilage in his knee and arthritis in his knee is a wasted pick.

The Auburn running back would have been a better pick in the third round.

Draft classes I love so far: Eagles, Steelers, Seahawks, Lions, Bears

Draft classes I hate so far: Titans

Eagles take another Georgia player ,Kirby must be getting a kick back off every pick
