The Rams' brass saw him play at the national championship game in their stadium and disagreed I guess.

NFL minimum salary is 1.065M this year so better to be drafted I think.

Last year Velus Jones was pick 71. Jalin Hyatt was pick 73. Here is what Jones got:

Velus Jones signed a 4 year, $5,405,928 contract with the Chicago Bears, including a $1,111,584 signing bonus, $1,111,584 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $1,351,482. In 2023, Jones will earn a base salary of $950,724, while carrying a cap hit of $1,228,620 and a dead cap value of $833,688.

I think the most important reason for Hyatt to enter the draft was that he is a year closer to his second contract. That is where players make serious money.

Yup and some mentioned NIL if he had stayed and should've came back. All this NIL contract with Hyatt Hotels will do is end and roll over into a sponsored endorsement contract with more than likely more money since he's playing in NY which is a big market city. He plays good. He get's the big money a year early.
Right choice leaving IMO still. Guy was on no one's chart until last season at TN. New QB in Knox this year, no promise he get's those number in TN this season and Milton go to seems to be Squirrel White

hey guys haven't been able to keep up with draft after day 2. any more vols drafted. thanks
