Living in Bama

Oh, so harsh words make it worse?

Bama had fewer losing seasons under our sanctions that Tennessee has had without them.

Bama's record from 96-06 is far from stellar.

Remind me, exactly when was Bama not on some kind of probation during those years.

I was pulled over in Alabama yesterday morning and the cop is tell me to slow it down. he let me off with a warning but couldnt resist commenting on the Vols because I have a Power T on my back windshield.

He asks "You know UT fans dont say Go Big Orange anymore", I said "Really what do we say."? he replies with "Maybe next year, or When we get a new coach".

I hate this state...FML!

Your statement should have been.....

Title: Living in Bama

Statement: SUCKS!!!!

:finger3: Buck Fama!!!

People think I'm crazy when I say if we go 1-10 I'm good with it as long as we beat bama. You just don't get it unless you live down here. It sucks, and these bama fans are unconscionable.

As someone who lives in Birmingham, I completely understand.

I know, right? Our program has hit such rock bottom lately that even our own message boards have attracted a few degenerate zoo animal Bama fan posters.

UT has never been caught paying players, you have no argument when probation is the topic of conversation.

You brought up a comparison between the literal probation Alabama endured versus the figurative probation of Tennessee. I never suggested that Tennessee actually got slapped by the NCAA worse than Bama. Only that Tennessee's self-inflicted wounds have been more damaging than Bama's sanctions.

I don't hate Alabama as in the university or football team, but I hate the obnoxious fans more than anything in the world. It's pretty ridiculous and no one is immune to their wrath. Ive seen fans of non SEC schools get absolutely shredded by Bammers. :gun:

I have lived in Ala 15and yrs and have a Power T and a Personalized license plate and have had 10him or so tickets and so far no cop has never said anything UT related, have gotten a few and gotten out of a few. I like 45it mins from Tuscalooser, but these fans on the other hand make you hate Ala and even AU fans have become unlikable.

Agreed. These idiots are so damn obnoxious andthink they are clean and have never done anything wrong. They are a sprecial breed, imbred but special. And since Saban has been there its amazing how many of them have popped up. Even have known forever so called AU fans swap to Bammers and are obnoxious as they come.

Was just outside Tuscaloosa and went into a Walmart to get a new Bluetooth adapter for my car stereo because I couldn't get any good music on the FM dial.

This was the most junked out Walmart I've ever seen. Boxes blocking the aisles with no stock person nearby; packs of unsupervised children running around everywhere; grime and dust on everything. Just strange.

I finally find a section where there are some flat screen TVs and see an older lady who appears to be an employee.

So I ask, "What sort of stuff do you stock for Bluetooth, here?"

"Well," she said, opening her mouth to reveal a few teeth that probably needed to be pulled, "they got some paste and what not over by the pharmacy, but I just like to just rub a little snuff on mine."

After that, I made Chattanooga in about 2 hours.

Montgomery is a wonderful capital and the South exit area to go to Florida is well kept. Once you see another city named after a disease at Colera, you know you are close.
Plus you can smell it.

Bama fans would rather talk bad about you're team than say something good about there own. When fat boy got lucky and blocked that kick I cant tell you how many bammers I had tell me that bama just kicked UT's ass. Not one person said man that was a tough game, or said WE GOT LUCKY. I love the state but hate the fans of the football team.

LOL.It's always interesting to see the stories people will come up with in an attempt to denigrate a rival football team.

I live in Alabama and whenever the Alabama fans start talking trash about Tennessee, I just ask them if the remember Fulmer and that shuts them up. I miss living in Tennessee.

I was attempting to denigrate the entire state, clearly. That's the problem with you Bama fans--you set your sights too low. Moving into a double-wide instead of a single and marrying your second cousin instead of your first, don't mean your king of the world.
