I can't see the picture clear enough. Is that gal breastfeeding a reptile?
She appears to be . They have their own special wedding/baby announcement protocol in the Sunshine State. Typically involves a case beer, firearms, local livestock and a parole officer taking the photo. Every picture is its own story.

To each his or her own, I guess.

Do to Lawrence what Batman did to Killer Croc. Trap him in a dead end tunnel behind a steel grate gate in a sewer and leave him there.
You really are quite the enigma Woody. You have just the right amount of nerdiness and craziness that means we would likely get along well despite some differences, which are not to be discussed here of course. Go Vols!

I'd like to meet the fella... but unsure how to navigate the land mines leading to his front door.

Florida is more talented this year, deeper, and they have a handful of legit players at key positions - Mertz at QB, Montrell Johnson at RB, Eugene Wilson at WR, Shemar James at LB, Devin Moore at CB, but the biggest unknown for Florida remains the coaching uncertainty. To say Napier is unproven would be an understatement. I trust that the team is more talented, I don’t trust that Napier and staff have the proper X’s and O’s and gameday prep necessary to do much beyond 6-6. Hope I’m wrong, but here’s to another college football season. 🥃

if you guys make it to 6-6 Napier deserves a raise. that will include at least 2 victories over programs who are pre-season ranked. and assumes a win over Kentucky who has given you fits.

Miami, and TAMU are probably your best bets, both are hella unproven. you guys have the luck of the devil in our game, even though we should win, crazier things have happened.

unless one of the teams just falls apart, if you get a win in November that may be reason to keep Napier. neutral #1 UGA, @ #4 Texas, #13 LSU, #6 Ole Miss, @ # 10 FSU. thats practically a play off run right there.

Let me start by saying that I don't keep up with Florida's roster. Per 247 sports, Florida's team talent is ranked 12th nationally:
Seems like the ceiling is higher that 6 - 6 unless the coaching staff is lacking.

I think getting Miami and TexAM both early in the season at home helps a ton in those games. UF had zero business beating Utah two years ago in game 1 but won simply by Utah being sorta shellshocked by the environment, and AR having one of his better games. Supposedly Napier is safe this season because he “deserves” a shot next year with prized DJ Lagway at QB. I don’t buy it. Another losing season and he’s a goner in my opinion and we’re looking for a coach AGAIN.

Ceiling - 8-4
Probable - 6-6
Possible - 5-7

I’ll go with 6-6, I simply do not have confidence in the coaching, of course I’m holding out hope that I’m shocked by a wonderful turnaround this year.

Oh, and where have you been, man?

Been lurking here and there. Checked in for your baseball national title to offer congrats. Not as much free time recently due to work schedule change, but I’m never too far away.

Oh there’s no doubt the talent has improved, depth is way better than any of Napier’s first two years. But I saw so much ridiculousness associated with coaching in the first two Napier years that I’m now in “show me” mode. Show me you can get the right number of players on special teams, show me you can call a decent game offensively, show me you can field a defense that can fog a mirror. Until then, all I see is 11-14 as coach at Florida.

We have this thread every year, and then they beat us.

Their team is talented.

Their weakness is interior DL. While there is really good talent at every position, there’s not elite talent in the interior. And Lyons got hurt. Gator fans will try to argue guys will play multiple positions but their talent is at edge.

Need to attack them there late in the game.

Show me one player per uniform number.

I think he gets another year, myself, unless this season is off the rails bad. Infighting, bad suspensions, lose to UCF. Stuff like that.
