Look, we just beat the #1 team in the country......

Not many, then he went 11 straight without getting out of the second round. Great example!

Exactly when were those 11 straight years? Good to see your grasp of fact is on the same level as your ability to analyze basketball.

No, I'm saying you don't know what you're talking about because Huggins has never gone 11 years without making the second weekend of the tournament. If you're going to enter a debate, at least know what you're talking about.

b asically what youre saying is you are nitpicking small details just to troll, because your overall point is so stupid you can't back it up with reasonable thought.

Sorry, 9 years.

You are terrible at math. And being remotely correct.

Unless I'm giving Herm too much credit, it appeared to be a setup that led to his Sweet 16 comments above. Come on Herm, don't let me down!
That would only be remotely relevant if I ever said the Sweet 16 was some grand accomplishment. Well, that and if Bob Huggins didn't also have a Final Four and two other Elite Eights on his UC resumes. In fact, let's take the standards the Pearlophiles love. In Pearl's first four years at UT, he's never advanced past the Sweet 16. In Huggins' first four years at Cincinnati, they made a Final Four and an Elite Eight.

Yes, that's all fine and well but there you go again ignoring the last decade of Huggins tenure. Again the point is, if all you want is an e8 and post season success for a couple years, and then a decade of mediocrity Huggins is a good example, if not, I guess I'm not sure why you ever mentioned his name when I was asking for coaches that have successfully rebuilt programs.

Don't rip on Huggins to hatvol, he's a Hugginsophile. He slurps up the banana suit wearing, do you know who I am, door vomiter.

Winner, winner chicken dinner, now you have used every cliched argument on the board in only one afternoon.

Well, BP isn't good enough right? I dont see anyone mentioning names? Bob Huggins, is that who the haters want? Or are you guys all troll no solution?

You ain't doin ---- if you dont have mother----- haters

Keep up the good work Bruce. Keep being a statistic, haters.

Newsflash: One Elite Eight appearance is not that big of a deal. No one talks about how many Elite Eight appearances a team has, but rather how many times they've made the Final Four or won the tournament. Honestly, it's embarrassing to act as if getting to the Elite Eight is somehow a huge deal if there's no success afterwards; any sensible Tennessee fan should recognize that an incredibly shorthanded and uncertain Volunteer squad pulling together to upset the #1 team is leaps and bounds more meaningful than an empty appearance in the Elite Eight.

So if Kansas loses 10 more games this year and gets knocked out in the first round of the tournament, is it still a major accomplishment to have beaten them?
