Well Bama was supposed to vacate 5 wins for saban first year at Bama from 7 & 6 to 2 & 11 but the pundits still put those 5 Ws on Sabans W totals. IMO the vacate penalty is such a nothing burger. Because you where there you saw the win and a year or 2 later they say they used an ineligible player and its vacated. You cant un-see the game and most people are moving forward and don't even listen to the news or have the time to re-call.

Those wins are not part of saban record. If you Google his coaching record, it clearly states they had to Vacate the wins. IMG_6651.jpeg

LSU vacating 37 wins will also give us some breathing room to stay ahead of them (they should now have 796), even if we vacate all 16 of Beldar's wins.

Yeah, I guess my point is the drive by fans that went to the game, which is most, have no idea these will be vacated. They just go for the party and chant we're number 1 and blow off some steam. In their mind they seen the win, game over bureaucrats' will never take that away from them. JMO

Can we finally pass a Tennessee Constitutional amendment prohibiting the Vols from hiring any coach that has any connection to the universities of Alabama or Florida?

Look at the crap we hired. Bill Battle (Alabama) who took 5 years to destroy the Top 5 program that Dickey had built. Pruitt who gets us sanctioned. OMG do not forget the Sunseri defenses during Dooley.

Dickey rebuilt the program but then ran out on us to go home to Florida. Woodruff, the AD who hired Battle (the DL coach at the time, never even a coordinator) over Majors, was from UF.

Can you just imagine what Johnny could have done starting with a Top 5 team instead of the wreck he took over in '77. Not to mention the staff he would have brought in from Iowa State. (Jackie Sherrill, Larry Lacewell, and Jimmy Johnson) Majors might have run the Bear out of the conference.

Besides, just having a Florida or Alabama guy in any of our programs just makes me feel dirty.
