Like you do with Pearl?
Pearl's done better than I expected, but I said on this board when he was hired that he would do alright here. Dooley, on the other hand, was a miserable hire who will fail on a scale not seen at UT since the pre Doug Dickey '60s.

Not much. I'll be too busy ripping Hamilton for dropping out of the SEC to join the Sun Belt. That's the only way it's going to happen.

I stand in awe of your clairvoyance.

You're basically coming up with a sum without knowing what numbers you're adding up.

That cannot be done. You won't convince anyone you're that smart.

Who's gonna be president in 2016?

Yeah, but he's so organized. He was the AD at
LA Tech, afterall.

That's what really matters in a big-time coach.

Organization skills and administrative experience.

17-20 playing the New Mexico States of the world are the numbers I'm adding up. The equation is simple: 17-20 in what is essentially an FCS conference=SEC humiliation.

Yeah, the Redskins should sign the Sullins brothers. That'll save them. It's all about heart.

If they would be able to motivate the fat/worthless turd that is Albert Haynesworth, then they would be worth the league minimum that they would be getting paid.

What brilliance! Why couldn't I see it before? Oh, that's right. Selective reasoning is for those who refuse to see the whole picture. You're only fooling yourself.

I love all of you that predict utter and complete failure and how you conveniently leave out all of the positive things Dooley has accomplished. Saban thought enough of the guy to take him to the NFL with him. That speaks volumes.

Considering what he had to work with at La. Tech, money wise, I'm surprised that they even had a waterboy. Dooley was at the armpits or armpits, as far as D-1 jobs go, and he did the best he could.

By your logic, a guy who fails miserably at a low level of competition deserves a shot at a higher level because they haven't failed there yet. That's like elevating a retard governor to the presidency. Oh, wait. We did that. Look how well that turned out.

There is no way Idaho and Utah State were so much better off than Louisiana Tech.

Jimmy Johnson had a 29-25-3 record his first 5 years at OSU. Two of those seasons he was sub .500 at 3-7-1 and 4-5-2.

Yeah, how can you expect someone to compete with Cadillac programs like Utah State, San Jose State, and Idaho? I'm amazed the Saints haven't considered ditching Sean Payton and hiring Dooley.

You are like a buzzard. Hovering until someone says something positive about Dooley.

I think most here know where you stand. Does it really serve to repeat yourself over, and over, and over, and over, and over?

I'm pretty sure a winning record trumps a losing record and I'm absolutely certain the Big 8 was a Hell of a lot better than the WAC. Also, was Johnson's last year at Ok State an abject disaster?

I know. Who would have ever thought that a dunce of an Arkansas governor would be elevated to such a high ranking position.

I really hope you're wrong, hat. But despite what many people say around here, you usually ARE right, and even when you're wrong there is a strong element of truth in what you had previously said.

Case-in-point: JP Prince. That seems to be the vogue "haha, hat's wrong" item, but let's face it: He only really played well in a few games up until this last season, and even through the first half of this year people were all over him. It was only during the end of the year push and into the tournament that he really turned it around. Some people have a very limited memory, but looking at his career here as a whole, he wasn't exactly playing at a high level except for at the very end.

So if you're as "wrong" about Dooley as you were "wrong" about Prince, then this still won't end very well.
