Will Wade still continues to play acting like he has a Royal Flush. His recruiting hasn't slackened, is he still paying players? :) The NoA is given than LSU has a choice in theory, not sure they fire him though until they see something. I mean we're in bizarro world where the NCAA doesn't ask the University for information.



I would strongly disagree, they generally don't do anything and really wish this stuff would disappear.

By the time this next year comes in, payments are generally going on anyway in the open NIL. (we'll see how it plays out, a NoA is sent than LSU in theory can take action until than not so much)

Like I said, he's a man of steel if he doing everything they are saying.... meaning he must be paying all these new recruits as well..... he's still getting players at a very high level... like a water mill at this point.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Personally I think the NCAA has been waiting on these trials to see what comes out, not just on Wade but the others as well. (Free investigative work) Now that word has come out that Wade will be subpoenaed to testify, we’ll see if he has the cujones to lie under oath. Won’t be able to hide then and I’m sure the NCAA will be paying close attention. By the way, he must be slipping a bit on his “strong a- -“ offers. He got outbid by Memphis for Moussa Cisse.

That's been my line of thinking too. Let the Feds do the heavy lifting...they have the power of subpœna and the teeth to enforce it.

Not sure where all this testifying is coming from, Will Wade didn't need to testify last year i.e. 2019 in the Fed case. Unless there is something new I don't know about, not sure what we're talking about here.

Which begs the question, why would they need to have the feds if they have the information ESPN is reporting they have? Seems pretty factual in nature what they wrote which is probably why Will's attorney is now on the offensive asking for the documents. Someone can't claim they have the proof, and not show the proof to either LSU or Wade.

This basically comes up every 2-3 months, than get recycled. Even in ESPN's article they are claiming the NCAA is saying they don't have enough to send it to IARP. My guess, someone or some ones want Will gone, meaning you don't just keep recycling the same thing over and over if you have the goods - you just send it to IARP. They want LSU to dismiss him without any real proof, if they had proof they wouldn't need to recycle these stories.

Again, I'm not saying he wasn't involved in payments, matter of fact, I would probably put $10 on that he did, but also would put $1000 down that some big players want him gone for other reasons i.e. he's playing with the big dogs with or without the money.

Well, the other thread says that Wade has been given preliminary notification that he will be subpoenaed to testify in the April 22nd federal trial. So, just a hunch, but I’m pretty sure that’s where the “testifying” is going to come in. Evidently the Feds want to hear from him and Miller. Maybe it’s tied to the news that the NCAA is alleging that he has paid or offered payments to 11 players. I reckon we are going to find out. Should be fun to watch him and Miller squirm on the stand.

That was April of 2019. <------ That trial was over 15 months ago.

This has been going on so long people can't even get the right year. :)

My apologies. I misread the date on other thread. But that still does not change what ESPN reported that the NCAA says that Wade either paid or offered money to 11 players. We shall see whether it sticks or not. There has always been a lot of smoke swirling around Wade and I’m betting this one gets him.

I'd be surprised if he isn't canned, If for nothing else, solely to try and deflect attention away from the football program.

Will Wade has one of those demeanors and faces that if you passed him in the street and not know who he was, you'd still have the urge to punch the guy in the face.
