Pitt coach spends too much time on games already played. He put a lot into their first 2 games this year. Not as much as the next 3.

Serious question. Why in Hades do you call yourself Allvols? I get it, I have been a Tennessee fan since 1970. Any loss to Alabama in any sport ruins my day, but joy comes in the morning because my God has blessed me with another day. When the Volunteers take the field, I expect a win, and if they don’t, they will win next time out. Being a Tennessee fan means hoping for the best, that’s why fan is short for fanatic. As a veteran, I have seen pain, suffering, and even death. Watching college football should be joyful, win or lose.

I’d love to be proven wrong, but if I was betting, the next two weeks are going to be a cup check for Vol fans.

I'm sure there's some psychological definition. Maybe imposter syndrome? Survivor's guilt? Who knows. I understand it, though. We've definitely gone through our share of pains as a fan base the last 15 years, or so. Now, suddenly, we put a top 5 squad on the field and people's reaction is "well, surely this can't be right, right?" We're so used to playing Kentucky close for bowl eligibility in previous years that the thought of stomping their guts out and completely demoralizing them--which will happen--seems foreign.

We're going to stomp UT Martin
Then we're going to stomp Kentucky
Then we're going to go to Georgia and ruin their hopes for a repeat.
Then we're going to stomp Mizzou
Then we're going to stomp Vandy

Because we're a good team. And that's what good teams do.
