It's an absolute joke that Will Wade is still coaching. If he would've complied he'd have a 3-5 year show clause and be coaching at an elite level again. He's already proven he can coach at a high level.

He reminds me of Bruce Pearl, he's going to go away for a while. Then come back to some school that doesn't care about basketball that much. He'll exceed expectations (not like Pearl has at AU). Then move on....

He is easily one of the easier people in the world to root against. Hope his career is destroyed and never rebounds.

I hope this serves as a distraction for the team like Pearls inevitable firing was for TN when they got lambasted by Michigan in the tourney. I hope LSU suffers the most lopsided upset in the history of the NCAAs

The worst part of it, is how many games Javonte Smart played in for LSU, after these violations became publicly known. Basically, two full seasons. An HBO documentary ran in April of 2020, which played the Dawkins/Wade phone call where Wade's "strong a$$ offer" for Smart was discussed. Smart played a full season (2020-21, with 28 games played and started) even after that. Whatever LSU basketball gets... it's not enough. Will Wade has run one of the dirtiest programs ever.

Wade should get a 10 year show cause and the program should get a 3 year post season ban along with significant scholarship reductions. When the FBI catches your coach red handed and the university takes no action then how could that not be a lack of institutional control?

It feels weird, but I root for literally every other SEC team against LSU. Never had anything against them before Will Wade. It's so ridiculous that he's still there.

GoodbyLSU basketball and football at any competitive level for a while! Any credible athletic department would have fired Wade immediately to save their hide…except obviously in Louisana…why should that not be surprising?!?!

People need to let this go. We had an elite coach here with national championship upside/ceiling who was terminated because he lied about a stupid cool out.

We are now coached by a very good coach who does not appear to have the same high ceiling as Pearl but may get lucky and win one.

When Pearl does win one and he will at some point just be happy for him. He would have never left here if he hadn’t been pushed out.

cookout, bbq, lies about a bbq. Whatever it was it is only a problem because the NCAA sucks and decides who gets the bright light shined on them for investigation and who doesn’t.
