Lsu players only meeting

Players only meetings are almost always good things. It’s where leaders step and lead. When I played baseball at Belmont many years ago we were just going through the motions and losing game after game one year. We had a players only meeting to air some grievances, some leaders stepped up and we won the next day 22-1.
K. You think if Daniels struggles these WRs are going to give a damn about his inspirational meeting? Players only when it’s the whole team is a good thing. This kid didn’t even include the whole offense. 😂

No idea. I was commenting on team meetings in general. None of us know what the tone or content of Daniels’ meeting with WRs was and how the rest of the team feels about it so I wouldn’t assume the linemen are feeling left out

I wouldn’t assume the WRs gave a damn what he had to say either if he can’t get them the ball this will fester. Fortunately for them our secondary should give them plenty of opportunities.

2005 football Vols had a few players only meetings.

To me this seems like a nervous starter trying to bolster his position by showing “leadership”.

Sure but do the WR blame the linemen even a little bit? If our front 7 get home early, “inspirational leadership” can become blame game real quick

Lol or maybe the coach and team leaders have already lost the team and midmajor rah rah tactics don’t work within real programs?

This LSU team has the “lots of talented players but all looking out for themselves” UK basketball stench to it. Ya know the years Calipari is loaded with one and dones but none of them want to work toward a good season? Yea. That stench.

I’m thrilled you think we will boat race them. I hope you’re right. But stop coming off like a d bag
I didn’t say boatrace. If Tennessee played a C- game they could lose. But this whiny negavols “we have no shot” BS comes across as beta kid stuff. You are the one trying to come up with excuses while we will lose every game to a good team we play and then making excuses to why we win after. Also you can’t even admit that our coach is better than Brian Kelly

What is your evidence that Heupel is a better coach than Kelly? He may be in the long run but right now Kelly’s track record is far superior than Heupel’s 3.5 years of coaching

Guess we will see Saturday. Kelly has more talent and is at home.

They were deciding where they would go to get drunk after Tennessee smokes them on Saturday
Haha.

As I was reading all these comments I was thinking, "what if they just got together to decide where to go for lunch, or what they were doing after the game?"

I have a feeling this is what was said... Daniels- "I haven't thrown the ball down field at all this year and some of you are pissed (que Boutte)." "I PROMISE you, THIS Saturday I'll be slinging that tater and you MFer's better catch the damn thing against this horrid secondary!!!"
WR's- "YEAH BABY!!! WOOOOO HOOOOOO! SLIIIIIIIING IT, DANIELS!!!!!"
Or something like that.
Anyway... I would put my mortgage payment up to bet that LSU will, in fact, do something that they haven't done ALL year and that is... throw it down field. Our DB's better have their jocks strapped tight! And our coaches (Banks and Martinez) had best be expecting it!! This isn't going to be a surprise.
