Last time we went for it was Majors and that turned out alright. The key is to not let the roster get depleted and the fanbase demoralized before making a change. We waited way too long with Fulmer and probably a season too long with Dooley. Letting these coaches completely decimate a program before you call the bullpen is insane. LSU did the right thing timing wise.

Maybe the most botched firing to hiring I have ever seen. Ed Orgeron won 10 games at Ole Miss. In three years he had a worse record than Derek Dooley.
