I peeked at the LSU fans' site, tigerdroppings, to see what they might be saying about Heard.

It was pretty much 1) mild head-shaking that he couldn't wait a bit to start for them, 2) they mostly wished him well, 3) more than one opined, better he go to the Vols than to Ole Miss.

Hangup would be no HC experience heading into the Big 10 year one and Lake didn’t work out previously even tho he was groomed for the gig. I think he’s a great football mind and has been front and center in DeBoer’s success at Fresno State and Washington. My vote would be swing…but I lose nothing.

Family of five here. Got everyone but me on Christmas. THEN, everyone got it again week 1/2 later. Still, didnt get it.
