I would be a huge fan of this kid if he just quietly gets this done and shows up to campus to get to work.

It would be very refreshing in this day and age where the kids are all about the visibility of things and social media.

It doesn't have to be big. Just a simple tweet will do and is all they usually do anyway

AP may or may not be correct. We don't know that either. I just think it's just as simple an explanation as anything else. The guy hasn't committed, we haven't heard much, if anything. I don't think for a second OM, OU or any other school would be putting anything out wrt discussions if they are ongoing. Neither would we. And that could be the at the behest of him, his family or an agent representing him. It's not being paranoid, it's understanding how negotiations go and there's usually not much being put out if discussions are ongoing with another school or us.

i honestly think he’s just being respectful to the family of his friend that just passed away. Doesn’t want to take attention away from them or their kid

the idea that no other schools are taking their swings while he remains uncommitted sounds overly optimistic to me. He may be ours to lose. But he's not a Vol til we get the announcement.

Some other schools are still probably swinging, but until he visits them it doesn’t seem to be a concern imo
