That is another thing Doug Mathews said the coaches mentioned. Portal kids don’t usually come in for long visits. They don’t care to look around campus. Said they had all done all of that out of high school. They come in and get out pretty quick. Really just meet with coaches and head on.Doesn't sound promising. Hope I'm wrong.
That's good info to know. TY.That is another thing Doug Mathews said the coaches mentioned. Portal kids don’t usually come in for long visits. They don’t care to look around campus. They already have been in college and generally know what to expect in that respect. They also usually have a FAR more compressed timeframe in which they’re making their decision. That is another thing Doug Mathews said the coaches mentioned. It’s a media narrative driven by the importance of protecting the blind side. OTs see the millions and prestige but fail to recognize the money’s also there if you’re an elite RT and more of it than if you’re an average or below LT. McGlinchey got more than Orlando Brown who made a Pro Bowl at RT but won’t entertain the idea of returning there because his dad toiled and felt minimized at the strong side in his day. Darnell Wright embraced it and preferred it and he’s now a 10+ season future fixture. If you’re the BEST, you get paid! Why does it matter so much whether it’s L or R?

This didn't sound promising:What doesn’t sound promising? AP said he is in town and when a random poster asked if he was going to the basketball game he said no because it is a short visit (only 1 day). That is true for anlmost all of the transfer visits.
-APNope. He is here for such a brief minute in time
On the bright side or dare I say....the positive side? Guys with multiple years who are chasing a check likely will hop right back into the portal next season. Get guys who truly want to be here and the NIL is gravy. That's what I hope we end up with. Better fit and longer lasting.Goes to office and grabs the envelope. Opens it up and stands up and shakes hand or slides envelope back and walks
