I think that if LSU is healthy, they win big and shut down OSU's offense. The thing that pisses me off is that I watched Herbstreit, Holtz, and Corso all try to make it out like OSU would win if their offensive line showed up. Corso says that OSU has the best offensive line in the country and that their defensive end was the most talented in the country. It was sickening listening to those three suck up to OSU. The one bright spot was Mark May and his stand on the game. He was very clear that if LSU was healthy that they would mop the floor with OSU. Holtz made the comment that if OSU showed up and played with intensity that they would win by 2 touchdowns. Then, he had the gumption to say that May was unbelievable to challenge his prediction and say that LSU would dominate. Even Herbstreit nearly fell out of his chair when Holtz made those idiotic comments about a 2 touchdown win for OSU. Did anyone else hear the interview with Hawaii's coach and his negative comments about Tebow?

I wonder why in the world Herbie likes osu? /sarcasm/

And I loved June Jone's comments - and he started squimming when asked why his QB wasn't a "system qb". Awesome.

He actually didn't make any sense with his explanation about a system QB. If anything, he made Brennan look like he was a system QB. The part about beating Alabama with Timmy Changs backup seemed to only reinforce the idea that Hawaii had system QB's.

A fraudulent OSU team once again gets destroyed by an SEC team. Tressel loses his composure and goes for it on a 4th and 10 from his own 1-yard line in the second quarter.

LSU, and not because I'm an SEC snob. Matchup-wise, Buckeyes are perhaps even more overmatched than last year. All that time for LSU to get healthy....lord help 'em.

i think LSU gets healthy and re establishes their defense against the buckeyes.

i do think this will be closer than last year, the OSU offense is more balanced than last year and their qb has been very good all year. they don't have what i would call bonafied play makers out side, but that RB they have is good. OSU's offensive line will be the difference in this game. they are better up front than they were last year.

OSU's defense though......it's good, JL is every big a good LB. but they struggle with spread offenses and i like Hester, Doucet, Flynn and Perriloux to be able to make plays.

then there's the coaching difference. Miles has been crafty this year, and definitely a little wiley. but i can't say he's a better coach than Tressel.

LSU wins with better talent. OSU stays in the game because they'll be better coached.

OSU will have learned from the long layoff last year, i can't see that being the issue again this season.

LSU 31
OSU 23

I hate these type of games. On one hand, I can't stand Les Miles but I don't want the SEC to lose to Ohio St.

tressell will have em ready to play. Bet on it. He wont get out coached two years in a row. And Ohio State does have good talent despite what those in the SEC think.

They really do. Their LT is great. Their DE is awesome. They have a good group of LBs. Jenkins is a pretty damn good corner.

But there is a reason they're 0-8 against SEC teams.

tressel probably had them ready to play last year, but a decent HS team is not going to beat LSU

i'm not convinced if that game gets played another 10 times that florida wins 10. The fact is that ohio state had a horrible gameplan. There was plenty of NFL talent on that ohio state team.

Droski....SEC is the toughest conference in the land and you know that as well as I do....

Droski you hate that we say we are the toughest conferance:eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol::eek:lol:

no i don't. I completely agree. But to imply that the talent on SEC teams is vastly superior to the ohio states of the world is just silly. Take a look at nfl players ohio state has produced and the recruits that tressell regurally brings in. There are plenty of SEC caliber players on ohio state's team. there aren't on purdue, michigan state, northwestern, etc etc, but when it comes to ohio state or michigant there are.

Each year the Buckeyes produce some of the most gifted players in the nation, and since 2000, Ohio State has had 59 players drafted into the NFL.

In 2006, the Buckeyes had five first-round draft picks: outside linebacker A.J. Hawk (5th overall), strong safety Donte Whitner (8th overall), middle linebacker Bobby Carpenter (18th overall), wide receiver Santonio Holmes (25th overall), and center Nick Mangold (29th overall). Whitner and Holmes were juniors, while Hawk, Carpenter, and Mangold were seniors.
