What in the world makes you say that?

LSU will make it look like UF went easy on the buckeyes last year. Complete blowout.

I have to strongly disagree. OSU isn't as good as they were last year, but they will be a lot better prepared. Meyer also had an excellent game plan. The chances of Miles getting the team ready like the Gators last year is very slim.

Also, OSU is getting no respect from anybody. At all. I can't read coaches or players' minds but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Miles is unable to keep his team from getting overconfident.

They were heavily favored

If you can find me some proof of that I would like to see it. I don't believe Okie St. was heavily favored in that game, they may very well have been favored, but Ohio St. was quite obviously the better team in 04.

And LSU will win this game by at least 17 points, and that's if they play an average game.

2004 Alamo Bowl: Oklahoma State vs. Ohio State - centralohio.com

Line was only 3.5

I watched the game and since the Bucks were without Troy Smith they had to start Justin Zwick, and ESPN would of had you to believe the Bucks were starting a punter, as a matter of fact he did do some punting that year so Tressel beat Miles with a punter at QB
.

Teddy Ginn Jr singlehandedly beat Oklahoma State that game. The screen pass he caught and ran deflated that team.

I think OSU will win just because they have something to prove to the country, they are getting tired of hearing about their sorry schedule. I'm sure JT learned something last year to help him this year in the NC. I just think through determination, heart and JT a good coach it's the OSU Buckeyes that take home the trophy. They got some fast players on defense. I hope it turns out to be a good game.

That is because the voting public did a bad job. Oklahoma State did not have the talent that the Buckeyes did that year. I don't know if anyone has the actual numbers, but I'm pretty sure there were a lot more NFL players in the next two years off the Buckeyes.

I think it will be a very close game but LSU will pull it out.

Illinois on the other hand, wow.........56-3 any one?

Look at how they did at the end of the year.

Last 6 for Buckeyes was 5-1.
Last 6 for Cowboys was 2-4.

And as far as talent, 5 players off the 2004 squad went in the first round after the 2005 season. I'm pretty sure there weren't near that many from Oklahoma State.

SC could easily lose to Ill. They have big problems with the spread and they definetly wont be up for the game.

Illinois is a joke.............. but that is another story for another day.

Speaking of which, Tedford was rumored as a candidate for the Michigan job.

tedford is a rumored candidate for every job opening. i doubt michigan is going to want to hire a 6-6 coach who has never gone to a bcs bowl.

he's already making $2 mil a year at a place where he could go 6-6 for 20 years and never get fired. that and michigan is cold and he and his wife are california people.
