I think they could win power T, they have a huge offensive line, they dont have a great quarterback.

Neither did Arkansas.

And if Tennessee's QB..his name slips my mind right now, had made one or two more good passes LSU wouldnt even be in this game

i do think this will be closer than last year, the OSU offense is more balanced than last year and their qb has been very good all year. they don't have what i would call bonafied play makers out side, but that RB they have is good. OSU's offensive line will be the difference in this game. they are better up front than they were last year.

OSU's defense though......it's good, JL is every big a good LB. but they struggle with spread offenses and i like Hester, Doucet, Flynn and Perriloux to be able to make plays.

then there's the coaching difference. Miles has been crafty this year, and definitely a little wiley. but i can't say he's a better coach than Tressel.

LSU wins with better talent. OSU stays in the game because they'll be better coached.

OSU will have learned from the long layoff last year, i can't see that being the issue again this season.

i can still see this game playing out this way, but i must admit as we draw closer to game time, the more i'm giving credance to this whole "us against the world" thing the underdogs in the BCS games have had thus far (WVU/KS). plus, take in to account OSU doesn't want to get embarrased again like last year, doesn't want to go 0-9 against the SEC etc......i'm beginning to think OSU has a more than fair chance to win this game.

i dont' know if it will be that as much as it will be Tressell will definitely have OSU ready to go. i'm really leaning toward changing my mind on this. I can't see Tressell getting out done again.

I feel the same way. Teams at this level are pretty close in talent level. I am real skeptical about Miles beating Tressel.

Based on this year's bowl games, I have come to the conclusion that I am incapable of predicting college football winners.

Heres what I am wanting to see....Will Tressel play this game close to vest or will he open it up? I ask this because we all know LSU is prone to turning the ball over and making mistakes, I wonder if Tressel will sit back and wait on Miles to beat hisself....

I think Tressel definately wins the coaching chess match against Les, but I will give the edge to LSU because they are practically playing at home.

It's a tall order for the Buckeyes considering the game is in New Orleans. It's going to be insanely rowdy.

You have your money on the right side, although I am expecting the number to drop a little more before kickoff. If it get's down to three I may pour on a little more. There are a lot of people that will bet OSU based on their heart and not their wallet.

Final score will be in the in the 48-7 range. If you can get a 1st half line jump on it too. OSU shouldn't score in the first half.

I wouldn't be surprised to see RP score more on OSU than he did on us - as a backup in this game.
