LSU won the title.....

Yes , explain like Madtown would explain or whatever.
What are you needing me to explain? I’m confused at this point?

UCONN will be really good next year with Paige and Brady returning to the lineup. They have Arnold, Shade, and Samuels coming in, Shade and Samuels being 2 recruits we went really hard after, and Fudd will more than likely be healthier.

Fudd and Paige will be considered the best backcourt in college basketball next year and if Brady is anywhere near healthy and able to play to her potential, watch out……..”It’ll be tough to beat UCONN next year”

If I’m not mistaken, Mulkey gets everyone back aside from Morris and adds one of the best high school recruits in the country in Williams and a #1 recruiting class……..”LSU will be in the hunt”

Hope that helps.

Unless the portal brings us players like RJ at every position we are going to be lucky to finish top five in the SEC. Getting Key back isnt the answer. She is a good rebounder and shot blocker. But she isnt a legitimate scoring threat. If she can stay out of foul trouble that would help. But sadly with players that are slow and cant jump. Cant move on defense. Cant hunt their own shots. This team is in trouble without some transfer help.

Mulkey loses Morris, Poole, Carson and LaDhazia Williams…that’s three starters and their top guard reserve. I think Mikayla Williams and Smaya Smith will get starting nods next season, but they can upgrade Poa.

Yikessss, I didn’t realize she’s losing all of them! I’m sure she’ll be in the portal as well. I’m glad we grabbed Wells when we did.

So will UT . What's your point ? It will be tough to beat us. Kea not a cream puff and Keys have block parties on a regu lar basis . We have our point guard and three point sharpk shooters . We have everything ngeeded . And still will finish to kick some serious azz . Echoes...." UT will be in the hunt".

Yes, glad to see LSU win it!!!

Why? It will just make it tougher for us to become a contender. We've got two multiple-title winning coaches ahead of us in the league at SC and LSU, who, along with a few other programs will lay claim to the top high-school prospects, against which Harper's claim to fame is that she took Missouri St. to the NCAA tourney and got us to the Sweet 16. Okaaay. Recruiting has been difficult and could remain so--for that very comparative reason. We had a window following PS's retirement to keep the train chugging down the premier program/powerhouse track, but we made one really bad hire and one that's looking decidedly meh, and we could be looking at a lot more years of just slogging along. It appears that working the portal every year is going to be key to closing the talent gap with the top programs. Maybe we'll capture lightning in a bottle....

Got hot from 3 in 1st half and could not miss from mid range in 2nd half but when they did miss they got the rebound and put it back in .

The refereeing in this Title game was atrocious .....I do not think Iowa would have won but there is no question the refs influenced the game with some bad calls .I do not understand how those three refs were in this championship game .....all three would get failing grades from me .

I agree and I rarely complain about officiating (see my comments in game threads). But this was a horribly called game and the NC2A should review and this crew downgraded so they can’t call a final four game next season.

Okay, great! Like I said, again, UCONN will be tough to beat, and LSU will be in the hunt! I wasn’t talking about Tennessee, at all…..so what was your point exactly?!

Mine also how does LSU winning help Tennessee never understood why people pull for a conference if we don't win the hell with the rest of them.
Conference strength of schedule is determined by these types of games. SEC was underseeded this year due to lack of quality wins against other conferences. All our teams will get more respect if Conference is seen as elite.

Iowa couldn't even defend in the final quarter because the refs had inserted themselves so much. Yes, call true fouls but even the announcers were saying that it was BS. This was the National Championship--not just any game.

Try reading where is says REF!

Oh I did. How about you stop trying to be cute with your little micro aggression and read a boxscore. I’m sure you’ll find their names.
  • Referees:
  • Lisa Jones
  • Michol Murray
  • Pualani Spurlock-Welsh

So jealous of LSU, a big time women's basketball program that actually acts like a big time women's basketball program and now they have their first title.

You get what you pay for...
I was thinking the same thing. They won nine games the year before Mulkey arrived. Then they win it all in her second season. It’s a shame we don’t have the tradition in women’s basketball that they do that would justify hiring a top coach.

I could have swore two of them were Pat Adams and Doug Shows. The technical called on Caitlin was a disgrace. They should have received their walking papers after the game. Dawn Staley laid the groundwork for this BS.
