LSU won the title.....

It's not a problem when Clark is "showing emotion", but it's a problem when it's L.S.U. ?! Yeah....okay

Reese following Clark around for fifteen seconds, getting in her face, and taunting her is not "showing emotion." It's classless. If Clark followed someone around for fifteen seconds doing that, then post the video and let's compare them.

A few classless acts by a couple LSU players at the end of the game. Kaitlin handled it well. I always give credit, LSU shot lights out no doubt the best the have ever shot it. Too bad a few got to be classless. Enjoy your win no need to taunt a great player. The hate was evident.

Clark got what she deserved based on her disrespecting the USC players during their game. Her gesturing about how they were not going to guard the perimeter players was over the top disrespectful. She got exactly what she desrved when the shoe was on the other foot IMO.

You wouldn’t have wanted half of the girls Mulkey got out of the portal here at UT

Even Coach Mulkey alluded to "the personalities" and managing them after today's game. Several were invited to leave but did not to their good fortune.

Many people do not give Coach Mulkey the respect she deserves in my opinion. You don't win national championships at 3 different schools in the same sport being lucky. I detest she is back in the SEC at a school that recruits itself like LSU can for many recruits because it makes it tougher on us to succeed as a program. The good news, Coach Staley took a big black eye this week due to her poor coaching AND her comments declaring her victimhood after their loss.

I mentioned in another thread Coach Mulkey would not allow one player to beat her team like Coach Staley allowed Clark do to her team.

Being Tennessee Lady Vol fans we must realize that we have a ways to go before we can challenge the top five teams in the nation. Our guard play has to improve, losing Horston sets us back ever further. Where we find a replacement for Horston is anyone’s guess. There is no one presently on this team to replace her athleticism, leaving out the uncalled for turnovers. I still want to see more of Pissott. KJH have a lot of hard work ahead of her, even to be the third best team in the SEC.

er we beat LSU in the conference tourney, right?

Not guarding non-shooters was a strategy, and a common one, that worked. Clark's hand gesture (against a different team, no less) isn't a reason to follow her around the entire court at her lowest moment

Whew, this whole Angel taunting situation has turned into something really big nationally and of course a white vs. black thing.

So will UT . What's your point ? It will be tough to beat us. Kea not a cream puff and Keys have block parties on a regu lar basis . We have our point guard and three point sharpk shooters . We have everything ngeeded . And still will finish to kick some serious azz . Echoes...." UT will be in the hunt".
I

What drugs are you on? UT will be lucky to be ranked next year !

Clark had been callin for that smoke the entire tournament. Every highlight of Her was Her on some Stef $hit or runnin Her mouth. She'll be fine. Folks out here more worked up about nothing than She is, but keep pretending it's about basketball.
I know what it's about and like I stated earlier why does it always come to that the world will never change in some people's eyes

Kim is now my legend coach. She took a team with no #1 ranked, under 2 seasons, and turned it into a power house.

YES, in the MIDDLE Mix!

And go back and watch Clark lapping the gym pumping her chest as they defeated Carolina. Athletes and Coaches making stupid moves in victory and defeat is nothing new. And quit pumping up recruits the Lady Vols need. They need a Coach that will run the players we get and use those famous plastic trash cans. CPS teams were physical, tuff, and in shape.........Win or Lose.

Why? It will just make it tougher for us to become a contender. We've got two multiple-title winning coaches ahead of us in the league at SC and LSU, who, along with a few other programs will lay claim to the top high-school prospects, against which Harper's claim to fame is that she took Missouri St. to the NCAA tourney and got us to the Sweet 16. Okaaay. Recruiting has been difficult and could remain so--for that very comparative reason. We had a window following PS's retirement to keep the train chugging down the premier program/powerhouse track, but we made one really bad hire and one that's looking decidedly meh, and we could be looking at a lot more years of just slogging along. It appears that working the portal every year is going to be key to closing the talent gap with the top programs. Maybe we'll capture lightning in a bottle....
Yeah, maybe But I wouldn’t bet on it.

Clark did the exact same gesture against Maryland, nobody had an issue. Reese returns the favor and people lose their minds. What other reason one was controversial and the other
Not if not for race?

My opinion is if you didn’t say anything about Clark doing it then you shouldn’t say anything about Reese doing it.either have a problem with both based on what is sportsmanship or is it classy or neither.my opinion is neither one was right with the gesture but I’m good with trash talking but it’s definitely not one person’s gesture was ok the other one wasn’t but unfortunately that is the narrative of some

Now with video. Watch the last one and tell me these are “the same thing”.

Sure, McReese's was literally more in your face about it but the you can't see me gesture to another team, like "you are too small," is still "taunting". Its sports, taunting, trash talk, personal hostilities happen all the time, no reason to turn either scenario into a national crisis. Much worse passes in the men's game without any eye brows being raised in shock and outrage.

Where in the world did you get the idea that Tennessee could have had Mulkey. She was pretty well locked into Baylor $$$$$ but the chance to come home was a deciding factor. Tennessee was never in that conversation.[/QUOTE
If anyone doubted this, then look towards the end of the game and the post-game: Kim is genuinely and deeply a home girl at heart. I don't always like her sideline antics, but as a Louisiana native she really won me over at that point.
