LSU won the title.....

I could have swore two of them were Pat Adams and Doug Shows. The technical called on Caitlin was a disgrace. They should have received their walking papers after the game. Dawn Staley laid the groundwork for this BS.
Yep and will be this way for a long while!!

Okay, great! Like I said, again, UCONN will be tough to beat, and LSU will be in the hunt! I wasn’t talking about Tennessee, at all…..so what was your point exactly?!
You didn't say UT will be on the hunt . That the point. Feel me.

Sometimes winning NC requires some truly lucky breaks like few teams better than you playing really horrible getting upset and then in championship game you face a horrible defense but still have few players make shots that is unexpected. Give Lsu credit they walked through door they were given and Won. In CHRIST Alone

Nikki Fargas left LSU in 2021 Since then she's won a WNBA Title as President of the Aces while LSU won national championship
What exactly does a president of the WNBA Aces do. I know the coach GM and the silent partner names and pretty well understand what they do as well as Brady. What the heck does a President actually do for the team. Serious question

I was thinking the same thing. They won nine games the year before Mulkey arrived. Then they win it all in her second season. It’s a shame we don’t have the tradition in women’s basketball that they do that would justify hiring a top coach.
Spoken like maybe Darth and his royal pomp in their infinite wisdom . But I agree separately in my own realm mind you. Well verse.

Unless the portal brings us players like RJ at every position we are going to be lucky to finish top five in the SEC. Getting Key back isnt the answer. She is a good rebounder and shot blocker. But she isnt a legitimate scoring threat. If she can stay out of foul trouble that would help. But sadly with players that are slow and cant jump. Cant move on defense. Cant hunt their own shots. This team is in trouble without some transfer help.
Being Tennessee Lady Vol fans we must realize that we have a ways to go before we can challenge the top five teams in the nation. Our guard play has to improve, losing Horston sets us back ever further. Where we find a replacement for Horston is anyone’s guess. There is no one presently on this team to replace her athleticism, leaving out the uncalled for turnovers. I still want to see more of Pissott. KJH have a lot of hard work ahead of her, even to be the third best team in the SEC.

Mulkey loses Morris, Poole, Carson and LaDhazia Williams…that’s three starters and their top guard reserve. I think Mikayla Williams and Smaya Smith will get starting nods next season, but they can upgrade Poa.
Problem is they won, have a strong NIL in place and have needs. And a head coach that can recruit, so portal they’ll get strong players and will boost their High School foot print.

Iowa couldn't even defend in the final quarter because the refs had inserted themselves so much. Yes, call true fouls but even the announcers were saying that it was BS. This was the National Championship--not just any game.

I didn’t have a dog in the hunt but very disappointed in the officiating as it impacted the game. You can’t have the best players on the bench and then give a technical to player of the yr for passing a basketball to the ref after. She didn’t say a word and maintained an emotionless expression on her face.

Why? It will just make it tougher for us to become a contender. We've got two multiple-title winning coaches ahead of us in the league at SC and LSU, who, along with a few other programs will lay claim to the top high-school prospects, against which Harper's claim to fame is that she took Missouri St. to the NCAA tourney and got us to the Sweet 16. Okaaay. Recruiting has been difficult and could remain so--for that very comparative reason. We had a window following PS's retirement to keep the train chugging down the premier program/powerhouse track, but we made one really bad hire and one that's looking decidedly meh, and we could be looking at a lot more years of just slogging along. It appears that working the portal every year is going to be key to closing the talent gap with the top programs. Maybe we'll capture lightning in a bottle....
Well, if you’re going to make statements as if they were facts, at least get them right. Kellie didn’t just get Missouri State to the tournament, she got that mid major team to the Sweet Sixteen. She has taken TN to the NCAA Tournament every year they’ve held it since she has been at TN, 3 times, and to the Sweet Sixteen twice, so far. Last year we got there despite injuries to multiple players, and this year we got there without Tamari, and TN just beat LSU in our SEC Tournament, a little less than a month ago.

LSU should be really nice to Iowa, because if Iowa hadn’t given their all to beat SC, it’s likely SC would have slaughtered LSU in a boring Championship game like they did during the season. Looks like LSU got some help from the refs as well.

Knowledgeable recruits will know this.

That’s why no one can predict the outcome of the NCAA Tournament, because the brackets and the breaks, and the refs, must fall your way. Shout out to all the defensive teams who wore themselves out knocking off the higher seeds. It’s hard to keep playing at that level.

No doubt the SEC will be forever tough, but TN is definitely in the mix of the top teams in the SEC.

Everyone have been saying that the zebras have been messing up the game . Last game .This game . This isn't a thing of our favorite team bias. It's real time and impact the pleasure of the game. But what's the alternative? Again .... A.I . Transhumanism . It's coming.

I wouldn't have called the T, but she tossed the ball toward the stands, not to a ref, and she clearly said something a couple of seconds before that. Have no idea what she said, or if it was directed at a ref, but you can see her saying something right before she tosses the ball.

(Sorry: this was a response to Vol94, but somehow I failed to make it a "reply" to their message.)

The days of The Lady Vols is over my friends. With small time coaches you get small time results. The recruiting for 2023 should tell everyone what they needed to know about what we got. Ranks right up there with Dooley not signing any offensive linemen that one cycle. Sickening to know we are no longer a top tier program.
Just be patient and give it time. Every team I have ever followed in my 57 years has experienced the mountain top at some point, but also had their share of the valleys. I feared the football team would never be relevant again in my lifetime, yet here I am counting the days till it's football time in Tennessee. Don't despair. The big orange magic will happen again.

It's not a problem when Clark is "showing emotion", but it's a problem when it's L.S.U. ?! Yeah....okay

Two wrongs don’t make a right but Clark is a media darling IMO so she gets cut slack even though she’s guilty as well at times

Reese has been like this all year. Amazing player and talent, wish she showed more humility. Sucks that she acted the way she did, she took away from their teams win because instead of the focus being about what a great TEAM performance LSU had, it became about the Clark/Reese drama

Your coaching opinions on this board is bearing truth and we could've had Mulkey , but we're fashion cops . Mulkey will be on the red carpet for a while.

Where in the world did you get the idea that Tennessee could have had Mulkey. She was pretty well locked into Baylor $$$$$ but the chance to come home was a deciding factor. Tennessee was never in that conversation.
