You know what? People talked worse about Sophie Cunningham before we ever knew Angel Reeses Name. No. It's ****** sportsmanship and both Angel and Sophie are trash. You don't follow someone around acting stupid for an extended period of time in a championship basketball game. It is classless and it is perceived as total trash. I don't know how many times things like this has been said about Sophie Cunningham for her antics and she want to make it about race. Sure.Dosen't matter how Reese returned it. Clark did it first. U can't slap me and tell me not to punch u. It's wrong when Black did it

That may be true, but attitude wise, I think they think alike........I would not put Sophie and Angel in the same category. Sophie's play was downright dangerous in college and it always felt like she was about to seriously injure her opponents. While I think Angel gets away with a lot of fouls (especially on her offensive rebounds), I don't think she's a dirty player at all.
I still vividly remember watching the game where the Duke team sagged completely off of Anonsike daring her to shoot. It happens in games often. So, I see LSU is rallying around the idea that they were upset because Iowa disrespected SC by not guarding them in the perimeter.
First, if that perception provided LSU with a little extra motivational boost, more power to them.
But, everyone should acknowledge that Iowa's supposed act of disrespect is one of the most laughable, invented from nothing slights in the history of sport.
If SC wanted the respect of being guarded on the perimeter, then all they had to do was make a few dang shots and they would get guarded. This is basketball 101. If a team is built to score in the paint, you pack the paint and give them the open threes until they force you to do something different.
On the flipside, LSU made those shots and really beat Iowa at their won game in the 1st half. So, kudos to the champs but I do wish they would let the "Iowa disrespected SC" slide.
This is the same woman who refered to Hisoanic kids as "little tacos." Between Joe and his false Cornpop story where black kids at a public pool worshipped his blond hairy legs like he was Tarzan and Jill's taco comment combined with we can't let that predominantly black team in LSU shine as champions all by themselves so bring in the predominantly white runners up, it's been obvious since day one the Bidens like the state of Delaware do not manage the issue of race well at all. I liked the comment one of the LSU players had where she said since Ms. Biden made thie comment perhaps the L>SU team could request Mic helle O bama host them at the White House. Touche' young lady, touche'.Tone deaf, some?
Incredible. Quite out of touch with the constituency she’s seeking to appease. Pretty sure this was met with a universal WTF? Bluder knows better, thank goodness. May be “some” players that refuse to attend…just saying. This is the same woman who refered to Hisoanic kids as "little tacos." ast night, I attended the NCAA women’s basketball championship,” said Biden, while speaking at an event at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver.
So I know we’ll have the champions come to the White House, we always do. So, we hope LSU will come but, you know, I’m going to tell Joe [Biden] I think Iowa should come, too, because they played such a good game.”
I think they are getting ready to find out we take our sports much more serious “….down here…” than we do politics.
For me, it was the dismissive hand flip, not the distance. That is the directly targeted at an opponent taunt I hate. Punk, unneccessary move. What I really hate is that the only good part of that story is lost in the sh*tpile. Raven Johnson defended her own honor by burying 3 straight 3s, and did so with zero return taunting, which is the standard of her coach. That gets the win for me. Latching on as a convenient excuse is just part of the inevitable s show. So, I see LSU is rallying around the idea that they were upset because Iowa disrespected SC by not guarding them in the perimeter.

Never heard the hairy legs story and ugghhh. But you might check the voters of color in So Carolina and their longtime leader, Jim Clyborne whether Biden manages the issue of race. Their why he is in the WH today. This is the same woman who refered to Hisoanic kids as "little tacos."
