That's so absurd. We had two decent seasons, we really did. There are teams that do so much worse and you're embarrassed because we had a 19 win season and a 20 win season with a depleted roster? You're a joke for a fan.

well inform everybody what that 19 and 20 win season did for Tn ? what tourney did they get in ? of wait...the NIT and got beat by a high school team. people like you are what is a joke. always have excuses. keep settling for DECENT seasons

I agree, horrible ugly basketball. Bad coaching and mediocre recruiting. This year would have gone MUCH better if Bruce's probation didn't end this year. As much as I don't like Cuonzo, he was brought into a terrible situation. We still haven't found a good PG to run Cuonzo's system, but Darius has shown glimpses.

If Cuonzo makes the tournament this year and wins a game, he does infact deserve to stay. As much as I hate his style of basketball and his timeouts, it would make sense. Next year would be a year ENTIRELY of his players, no more of Pearls. McRae is a headcase and whines a lot. If you haven't noticed Martin likes recruiting guys a lot like his personality (Hubbs, Richardson, etc). Just some thoughts.

Better IMO. Our bench seems to be jelled together and seems to play as more of a team (look at OOC games when our bench played). We won't McRae and Stokes fighting for possessions, and we'll have a REAL PG next year.

next year team under Martin will be a disaster. Martin wont have enough timeouts to help him next year. you and the other fightingMartins will run out of excuses sooner or later. Some have already jumped ship.

You live in fantasy land.....our bench that will rwturn including thompson scored exactly zero points yesterday......we wont be close to a bubble team next yr unless hubbs explodes and realizes his potential.

Its typical to blame guys like mcrae and stokes, the two doing most of the work on the court.

The fact that Lunardi still has UT in the dance just goes to show how sh*tty the bubble really is this year. Any team that loses to the teams that UT has lost to this year doesn't deserve to get a bid. The only way they'll get a bid is if they back their way in. They sure as hell don't deserve a bid.

What have you seen in the last 3 years to think that anything is going to change going forward? There is no reason not to can Martin after this year. This team isn't going to go on a miraculous run. They're a flawed team with a mediocre coach at best. They've had mind numbing losses all year. This is just another in a long line of them.

I see no reason to postpone the inevitable. Martin isn't the answer. Time for him to hit the bricks.

I said this a couple weeks ago when laying our scenarios...the bubble is weak, since expanding to 68 the last 4-6 in have been pretty undeserving.

At this point I just don't see how we will make the tournament, unless we get hot and finish the season undefeated and win at least two games in the sec tournament

Lunardi does not choose who gets into the tourney!!! He is making a educated guess and has been often wrong. The selection process is very subjective.

Would it be nice to be debating about our seeding and we were not in our own regional bracket instead of always hoping to be a bubble team? Yeah, we are in the top 67! Really folks, really that would make you happy?

Not possible. This team is not going to the NCAA tourney.

What makes you so sure? With the teams left on the schedule @MS State, Vandy at home, @Auburn, and MO at home, we could run the table and possibly win one in the SEC tourney. We could also lose them if the games are close and we have to depend on Cuonzo's brilliance at finishing games. The strength of schedule, wins over VA and @LSU keeps us in the hunt because the other bubblers are losing. Even though I want Cuonzo gone, I find it hard to root against my Vols.

My take is that the players are talented enough to win just enough games despite the poor coaching to slide into the NCAA.
