LV 2019 Recruiting Thread

Did Cooke and Jackson officially visit Ohio State? Predictions on where these two go if they go together and another prediction if the go to different schools.

Not officially.... officially they visited: Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas, Louisville, Miss. State. Horston was with them until Miss. State and she went to Uconn!

However, Cooke and Horston live on the state of Ohio..... They have been to that school before!

Now who goes where??? Horston announcing Wednesday... then we will see what happens????

I posted a pretty cool video under NonLV thread about te’a which was pretty cool and enlightening.

I know everybody is proud of Dawn and the ladies for their gold medal today. Way to go Coach Staley I am from VA so will always have love for her. Although she beat TN I will always have love for her passion of the game and growing the sport.

I’m happy that we are being considered by these elite recruits but now is the time to close the deal. Tired of hearing SC being a “finalist” for a recruit. I hope Dawn and Law can be the smiling faces this go round. I’m high on Cooke and Beal as potentials. Horston is an unknown for me but Dawn may have won her over same with Jackson. Jones and Boston will also visit. Everyone thinks those two are destined for either UConn or ND with Jones also high on Stanford. But I think both will give SC a good look. I hope we can land 3 to 4 of them.

Cooper seems to have her mind right for this upcoming season. Not sure she’ll use all of her eligibility so she really been working hard to have a good year. I really like the video. You can see she has grown and learned from her past mistakes. If she can be the player she was out of high school then it would be great for us.

I hear ya! Wishing u guys the best (just not against us) you guys are sort of in a position like us have playing time to offer but not that immidiate step in and start like other schools. I hope you guys get some good recruits just not the ones we want

I was feeling that way about Horston but I dunno. She seems like she is going to go where she wants to go not where the “it” thing is.

I have no clue about Cooke or Horston but I hope we get Jackson we could use another wing to back up Davis.

We have three guards and Zay and E are rated in the top ten!!!! Should be playing time available with two top five recruiting classes to play with!

South Carolina and Miss. State are about eight hours away .... How many games can family see them play ? Just Saying

No he won’t. That was a huge unsubstantiated rumor inadvertently initiated by her friend. She said he wasn’t coming.

Thanks for the correction. I thought that was strange! I also thought that UConn might get all three top recruits? Interesting that Horston is announcing now and Cooke and Jackson ( Who went on all visits with her are not committing yet )? The only difference between them is UConn???? Will it be there?

No Cooke/Jackson went on ever visit together (TN, SC, TX, UL, MsSt). Horston has two of the same (TN and SC) while her different schools were UNC, UCLA, and UConn (her order of visits was UNC, UCLA, TN, Sc, UConn). So if your predictions are true she goes to UConn while the other two go to Ms. St. The funny thing is her visits seemed like some were not the norm and she was gonna do what she wanted to do not what others thought. Same with the other two none of the their OVs to any instate school. However, Cooke has been to OSU multiple times and she has stated it is one of her finalist so she could unofficially visit and drive there and commit as a last thing like you stated and Jackson said she still may visit OSU and Rutgers.

On another note Rogers is still scheduled to visit in October...

It’ll be interesting and the first domino will fall within the next couple of hours

I am still thinking Key will move up from number 46 as she plays an entire season as a senior. I think she may be a top 10 talent that was sidelined by injury that affected her rating. We will see watching her on film she is like a Gazelle on the court very athletic player.

Keys game is similar to Izzy, her build, how she gets off the court. Latonya Pringle at UNC. ?

Once she gets stronger, look out. I am excited for both Keys and Saunders, both have tremendous potential.

They have the greatest room for improvement of all the bigs in the class, both athletic.

Go read the Boneyard about Jordan Horston. How they go from praising her game to ridicule after her announcement! Then go read Rickea Jackson twitter page! She has picked up on the negative comments. Maybe South Carolina board? I will let you know!

Yes.... same negatives about Holly as a bad coach and not as good as their coach! These recruits evidently read the message boards and our comments may affect their decisions? I hope Cooke and Jackson come and join the class of 2019..... another top five class and good players to play with!!!!
