Jordan had 10 pts and 9 rebounds, just shy of a double double. Played 27 mins, second most on the team last night. In the context that the Storm was without Jewel Loyd, by far their best player. No question though that Jordy has landed with a coach and a team that values what she brings and they are totally bought in to each other. Great for Jordy, so happy for her even if her team is struggling right now.

No contact, and you could say that about any sport that requires endurance.

Contact shouldn't have anything to do with it. Tennis players have the best mobility, hand /eye coordination and stamina and it isn't a team sport one vs one unlike other sports where you have teams.Aso play for 2 to 3 hours in 95 degree heat no comparison. Don't forget the mental aspect also that game is so mentally demanding

I've tried to watch and follow some WNBA, but its very frustrating to have so few available on TV I actually have. I like the Mystics, always liked Austin, and I like how the Suns play as well. Really hard to get too involved w the softball and baseball teams, the NBA finals, and my beloved Braves needing my attention.

From what I've seen, Candace just seems disinterested. Looks like her role w the Aces was never meant to be major, and maybe she's having trouble adjusting to that. She seems very ready for retirement and full time broadcasting. Love Jackie Young! Humble, hard working, and deadly.

On the other end of the spectrum, I'm so happy for Jordan H. I had hoped a change of venue would be a good reset for her, and it appears to be just that. So fortunate that she landed w a rebuilding team and a patient coach. Looking forward to her ongoing development.
What do you mean by change of venue for Jordan? She was pretty darn amazing as a Lady Vol

Even slightly-above-average-level tennis is physically exhausting. And yeah, the mental aspect of tennis is brutal. Back in my highly competitive days, tennis made me question the sanity of anyone choosing to make playing that game their career. Nope.

P.S. While not a physically exhausting sport, the mental aspect of golf IS brutal. It can drive a person crazy.

I know there are a lot of ex Lady Vols in league but I really enjoyed watching Ionescu in college and now she is doing well in the league

I sure would like to see Jordan aggressively pursuing rebounds more. There are opportunities she's just hanging back from.

This one is getting away from Seattle. They can't buy a bucket! A 20-0 run by the Mystics! 😮

I might vote for swimmers as being the most fit athletes. Not sure if it's still true, but when I was at UT the swimmers had already finished a 6:30/7:00 practice/workout by the time I was in the old Gibbs dining hall for breakfast. Two practices a day. Tennis players area also extremely fit--but not sure they are more physically fit than swimmers or basketball players. That said, tennis is also a very demanding sport mentally, as it's an individual sport--you are out there by your lonesome--and you've got to deal with and overcome a lot of little failures: Losing points, losing games, losing sets even as you hope you are winning points, games, sets.

brieallen, I just discovered voting for WNBA All-Stars is already open, so I, of course, unapologetically voted for my favorite rookie, Jordan Horston. I love that kid!
I did the same 😂😂😂😂 I don’t care one but I love that she dropped to number #9 . She is getting playing time and become better and better. And she finally got that start I wanted .
