Mack Brown out at Texas

This is the last I'm posting on this for tonight. I'll just say that my well-connected Bama friends are legitimately worried. They've heard some things and for the first time ever, they're really worried.

Ok, cool. Later.

:wavey:

I'd say Saban or his agent more than likely is leveraging Bama for more $$$$$. Bama will offer $7 mil and Texas will go to $10 Mil and so on until 1 of them blinks..

Yeah but if Texas is really offering a percentage of the Longhorn Network then there's no way Alabama can match that.

Alabama doesn't have near the $$$ compared to Texas. Texas has it's own TV network for crying out loud. That is why Texas wouldn't ever join the SEC. I like your post- and I bet Bama blinks first.

Whatever else might be true one thing is certain, Jimmy Sexton has been a very good boy this year. Santa Claus is comin to town.

It still makes zero sense to me for Saban to leave Alabama and go to Texas. What would be the point? At best, that is a lateral move. Yes Texas would offer him a ton of money but I'm sure Alabama would do it's best to match it. At least enough to where Nick wouldn't want the headache of relocating and starting all over at the collegiate level.

It would make MUCH more sense to me for Saban to leave Alabama to go back to the NFL because success at that level is still something he has yet to accomplish. If Saban moves to Texas, it's either to coach the Cowboys or the Texans.

has anyone else ever had NCs at 3 different schools? legacy of all time.

Nick was doing as lot of bragging about Gus before the championship game.... I told my son that it sounded really odd at the time, but now it doesn't seam so odd for some reason...

I just don't see Saban leaving Bama.

I think it's wishful thinking by SEC fans.
