Major fail by Amazon

WTF happened? Last time I looked and posted in this thread there were two going back and forth about how much Amazon sucks, no you suck, no you're stupid, blah, blah.

And classic hijack happened?

Anyone else experience terrible service by Amazon at the end of the holidays?

I ordered a major item on Saturday 12/21 for Monday delivery, before Christmas. As of today the item has still failed to track.

On 12/26 they told me to reorder it, so I did, again with overnight delivery....so it should deliver today. I see this morning it has not even shipped and they are giving me a delivery date of 12/31.

I'm rather shocked at how poorly they have performed. Thought they were a better run company than this. They might want to get normal shipping down to a science before they start messing with drones.

this happens if it's being shipped from places with weather problems. I had to wait a week before something shipped from Wisconsin because of snowstorms.

Girls. You're all pretty.

I've been wanting to use that for a while. :)

Seriously, this is the Pub. It's supposed to be fun. Everybody relax or kick your dog, or something.

The only decent post in this whole thread. Except for mine, of course.

So you went to eat with an idiot? Fail to see how your story is relevant

Just because you are a customer or a former restaurant employee, you just shouldn't make it a habit to return food. Most of the time (most being over 50% of the time), it is the customers that screwed up or didn't know what they were ordering that causes all of the drama. Then you have the rest being a mix of server error and actual cook/kitchen errors. Yet, the only ones in the whole supply chain that actually feel the brunt of the pain are the cooks.

Here is a test. If you go out to eat often and you are returning plates at least once every 3 months, you probably need to just stay home and not go out anymore.

I bet peejay returns his food once out of every three outings.

where's the OP, with the update

He's drinking, but here goes.

Boondoggle continues.

First shipment has finally tracked, one week after ordering. Will arrive at my house on Monday. That said, amazon has already refunded my money for this one.

Second order, the one they told me to place again, is also scheduled to deliver Monday. Problem is, will deliver to a house 50 miles from mine, a relatives house....visiting for holiday. I am actually so confident in Amazon's service I had it sent there believing it would deliver Friday.

So 2 coming, 1 to my house..not paid for.

1 to another house 50 miles away that is paid for.

Drink and be merry.

Dang 123, you could tear up a steel ball with a rubber hammer. :shades: Just for the record, what is it you ordered that has been so elusive?

Honestly, I agree with you on this. Feel like it could be a subplot in a Seinfeld episode.

Irobot 770. Have a golden retriever and we're tired of vacuuming.
