4 days for an item to travel 200 miles.
It's like some people have never worked in transportation or made it out of their house.
Also, a package lost is not a bottleneck.
I think my last order before Christmas was the 19th. It got there on the 23rd. I was very happy with that. I knew I was pushing it, but I had to wait for my paycheck from a hourly job to come through. My question is, if OP is unsatisfied with Amazon, and does not want to deal with B&M, where else would he or she go to find what Amazon provides?

Stick with Amazon.
2 bad experiences can't ruin the tons of other good ones.
Plus they gave me some money. Good trade off.
Yeah, they are pretty good about trying to set things right. I ordered a NASCAR car game from them(so I can conversate with the peasants) and it did not arrive on time. Upon my inquiry they not only gave me a $15 credit, but they gave me a free month of prime.
I feel like if the problems have been as widespread as you let on this holiday season they will learn pretty quickly from the amount they had to dole out to unsatisfied customers.
