But you will also say "I told you so" if we stink. I don't understand the joy in going to a game and thinking "man, we're gonna lose this game too". I personally go to every game expecting to see UT win, no matter the opponent. I wouldn't watch if I didn't.
I have wondered that too. I have never understood that but I see alot of people with that attitude after we do not get a first down on the first play. I wish more people would have your attitude.

Not expecting UT to dominate the world of college football in 2006 is not an attitude problem. It is a realistic assessment of the situation. You act like predicting anything other than an undefeated season is the result of some twisted hatred for UT. I'll go into every game hoping for a win, but that doesn't mean that I can realistically say to myself I think we'll win every game next year. If I got into a fight with Mike Tyson, I would hope I could win, that doesn't mean that I would expect to. That's not a lack of self confidence or an attitude problem, it's just a realistic perspective. I watch every game because I love UT. Regardless of whether or not they win, I like to see them give a good effort and play to win. I didn't see that so much last year, and that is why my outlook for 2006 does not involve a national championship.

Why? Has he gone into voluminous rants about when he worked in the SID office at Pitt and Mike Ditka played there?

Don't forget those haggard dronings about the greatest game ever played being a some 3-3 tie game 75 years ago, or how Johnny Majors and and Tony Dorsett are greater than the Pope, or how UT should be disbanded for firing majors, or...aw hell, I can't even understand what he's saying half the time he's on.

1. SEC team vs. Ohio State for all the marbles
2. FSU will still be looking for their offense
3. Schaeffer will have a break-out season at Ole Miss
4. Happy Valley will revert to sadness
5. Texas Tech makes the Big 12 Title game

If I could replace Missouri with TT I would be happy with my predictions even though Schaeffer has fizzled.
