I hope Arkansas gets destroyed in every aspect of athletic competition down to their undoubtedly successful Cow Tip'n Team. You should have come to aTm or gone to the Vols Mallet, I officially hate you now.

Interesting thread, enjoyed reading it.

A year later (almost), anyone change their mind?

The 3rd back behind D-Mac and FJ was Michael Smith. He's small but did ok this year. He'll be back next year for the 09 season.

Mallett will likely start at QB next year, a lot of people speculate that is why Nathan Dick left.

Any different thoughts on Petrino?

I cannot say he will stay indefinitely, but his contract has a huge buyout and he is not allowed to go to an SEC West school. Looks like the AD tried to make it very difficult for him to leave. (Some say Aubie was interested in him, there were rumors but Petrino's attorney quickly came out and said it is not an option.)

A lot of people in NWA say Petrino and his family likes it here, but how in the hell they know that is beyond me. His recruiting is better than Hootie's ever was at AR.

I don't blame you. You guys will do just fine. It would be nice to see someone knock FL off of their little perch over there in the East.

Wow - Mallett would be a savior right now.. we'd have a shot to compete with Florida for the easy next year with him.
