I do wish they would have gotten a little more red into the movie suit. Maybe on the cuffs and/or where the rib goes around where his belt should be.

NEW UPDATE FOR A JUSTICE LEAGUE FILM!

Here are some things I have found around the net!

It seemed for years that fans were wanting a JL film with the popularity of the original Superman films of the 80's & the Batman films of the 90's it again happened with the release of Superman Returns in the mid 2000's it always seemed that Warner Bros. didn't think it was feasible to get a cast together for the leads of those characters to make it work. Then Marvel started turning out the popular Spider-Man films that lead to Iron Man and the slow build up through that franchise into Thor, Captain America and Hulk and for the most part getting those actors to sign on to an ensemble film to share the spotlight. The success of those films left DC Comics and Warner Bros. trying to catch up.

Rumors are that the film will be released in 2015 possibly going head to head with The Avengers sequel which has already been given a release date of May 1, 2015. It's also said that the main leads/characters will of course be the big three of Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman.

Rumors are the villain might be Darkseid, and that the storyline could be based on the Justice League America issues released in 1980, #183-#185 were written by Gerry Conway and drawn by George Perez which “involves Darkseid planning the destruction of Earth by blasting it with a ray that’ll move Apokolips (Darkseid’s planet) into the Earth’s place.” Today, a new rumor has emerged about who will be in the League aside from the obvious choices (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern). The list also includes brief character descriptions and cameos.

• Superman is essentially the same character from Man of Steel, and Zack Snyder is consulting regarding the writing of the character.

• Batman: The strategist of the group. Batman doesn’t really want to be involved with these super powered beings he considers too powerful. Easily the most complex written.

• Wonder Woman: She has only been in man’s world a few short months. The Wonder Woman script Michael Goldenberg is developing will be set before the Justice League movie.

• Green Lantern: Will be Ryan Reynold’s character from the Green Lantern movie, but will be freshly written with a more serious tone.

• Flash: The most popular hero in civilian eyes who loves media attention, but when called upon is very serious.

• Martian Manhunter: Alien who has lived on Earth in secret for over a hundred years who has knowledge of Darkseid and his reign.

• Aquaman: Will be the King of Atlantis who has a key role in the film.

• There will also be a heavy military presence in the film which in future rewrites could include characters featured in Man of Steel or even Amanda Waller (Angela Bassett) of which neither are included in the first draft.

• Alfred Pennyworth is in the film in a minor appearance.

• Lois Lane is also in the film in a cameo.

• Darkseid’s Elite will be featured who go up against the Justice League early on in the film.

You should read the book. I read it once every 3-4 years. The movie is a good adaptation. In many scenes are 100% from the book, word for word, panel for panel. However, IMO, it failed to capture the essence of the GN.

I didn't know the story honestly but most Hollywood films find a way to inform you of what is going on even if you had no previous knowledge of it the story. They completely failed in that aspect.

BTW
Isn't this the music from the Gladiator?

Lisa Gerrard also sang in Gladiator, but not this song. She also performed a song for Man on Fire.

Believe it's from LOTR.

Believe it's from LOTR.

You're confusing her with Enya. Dhendri is right, it just sounds so familiar to the the Gladiator song because she sang that one too and they were both arranged somewhat slowly.

I'm a traditionalist. Give me the classic costume any day.

I think the idea was to not make him look quite so cartoonish and work a little better for this particular film, if it fits the mood of the trailer.

I'm wondering if I'm going to walk away from this film thinking Jim Caviezel would have done a better job in this film as well.:)

Trailers done right can make a crappy movie look good. That being said, this looks awesome. With Nolan as a producer and with as good a job as Snyder did with Watchmen, I think this is going to be really good.

The latest trailer is incredible. While the movie could still stink it up, I think the tag team of Nolan and Snyder doing the producing and directing will deliver us a movie as epic as the latest trailer suggests. I very, very rarely go to the theater, but I will most definitely see this ASAP.
