I get so tired of so called experts saying they would rather have Tom Brady over Peyton Manning because Brady wins when it counts. :furious3: Give me a break.

There is no way I would take Brady over Manning - sure Brady is a great QB and a great leader, but Manning he is not. Manning is not a choker as everyone seems to suggest. Imagine how many superbowls Manning would have won had he been on the Patriots or if the Colts had a defense like the Patriots.

I believe the QB gets too much credit for victories and too much blame for losses.

What are everyone else's thoughts on this subject??

First off, I really respect and like Manning.

But Brady has 3 Superbowl wins, Peyton's Colts, blew their best chance last year.

They are both great but Manning is a perfectionist and really is unstopable if he has time to throw.

How would the Colts do with Tom Brady?

How would the Patriots do with Peyton Manning?

The Patriots would destroy a Tom Brady Colts team.

i agree w/ 3-0 and head to head. maybe peyton's not a choker, but he's gotta win that big one to shed that image. dan patrick has the best comparison for these two qb's. who's the better qb, joe montana or dan marino? people that say montana will have to go w/ brady, and if you think marino is the better qb, you can take manning.

put belichick in Indy and Dungy in New England and then tell me how many rings Brandy would have. I guess defense doesnt win games either...

we all know what happened to Tampa right after Dungy left.

Tom Brady. It really would be interesting to see what Brady could do with Harrison, Wayne, and Clark at his disposal. Have you checked the Patriots' receiving corps lately? It's a who's who of ex-Florida, run-under-ball and catch-ball receivers.

before i put money on manning vs. brady, i would put money on belichick vs. any head coach in the NFL.

he is the best head coach in the league. maybe lovie.

Let's get it straight... the Pats won 3 superbowls, Brady just happened to be the qb. Comparing qb to qb, Manning wins hands down..... comparing past teams, the Pats get the nod.

If Super Bowl rings define a quarterback, then I guess Ben Roethlisberger is a better qb than Manning. Give it a rest indeed. Manning is by far the better quarterback.

As it stands,and being a huge Manning fan, I must say overall, Brady has had better players on defense, that said, he seems to keep his composure better in games on the line than Peyton does.I hope this changes.

Last year the Colts had one of the best defenses in the NFL. The Colts as a team are good during the season but choke in the playoffs

Absolutely - the 3 Patriot superbowl had a more complete team. Did the Colts have more talent on offense - sure. But the Patriots had a great offense and a great defense.

The Colts team last year was probably as good as any of the Patriot teams until they played Pittsburgh. The Colts O-line was schooled and no QB (Montana included) would have been successful if he doesn't have time to throw. I've never seen so many blown blocking assignments. Sort of reminds me of the blown assignment against UF this year that cost us the game!!!

i think part of the problem is peyton's style. it's exciting to watch, but the super quick way in which they score only hurts the D more because they are constantly on the field. Brady leads a balanced attack that eats clock and keeps other D's on their toes. Peyton scores as quickly as possible and there's no question if the Colts are behind they are passing the ball and that causes problems. It's not so bad to have a 2 yd run if only to keep defenses looking for the run
