Swarbrick doesn't know about apologies, if we hear from her, etc. Once they were satisfied with findings, they left it up to Manti.

Manti lives life on his sleeve (in response to why make her public). The perps knew that the more suffering she had, the more dedicated he would become, and that's was happened. Lots of examples of this online sadly. Sad to learn of frequency of this.

People who will be least skeptical of this live their life on social media.

What about the multiple reports reported that according to Te'o, he met this girl after the Stanford game at Palo Alto, and they exchanged numbers and all that?

the guy who created and ran the account is a "friend" of his and has known him for a long time.
the guy is part of the Tuiasasopa (sp) football family.

wouldnot be surprised if this investigation ends up being the first "outting" of a star football player

Well I am surely not a wide receiver. I just don't understand why someone would say that. Immaturity, hatred, repressed feelings? The guy is a heck of a football player, that may have made a mistake, doesn't change the fact that he will be playing on Sundays. Just don't get why posters feel the need to tear people down.

ND advised Manti to focus on game if questions about Leena happened and not draw attention to her. Wasn't complex. Understood the challenge of that.

Swarbrick won't say it affected his play on the NCG. His interaction on the 27th and continuing today has significantly affected Manti. Lot of sorrow here. Most sad about is (he's tearing up, struggling to speak) that the single most trusting human being he ever met won't be able to trust that way again. That's the biggest tragedy.

Not a ballpark of how many perps, no idea of characters. How many people were playing multiple roles, we don't know about that.

Notre Dame did not notify NCAA cause couldn't find any violations that were committed but was a focus early on. Did not go to authorities, but Te'o's might.

Notre Dame didn't contact authorities because that was the victim's decision to make, Manti's the victim. Him and his family have/had that decision to make. Notre Dame is not the victim. Manti Te'o is the victim.

Was discussion of talking to law enforcements. Said it was right decision.

Swarbrick will let Manti provide details on alleged face to face counter. When they talked, Manti first described the contact, the "met" was online, as least that's how he took it. and timing was consistent of playing of stanford game.

Lots of confusion when the phone call from Leena happened. We asked the questions of people involved in consideration from what the next steps were and was there apparent criminal activiy and was hard to find. Cruel hoaxes don't mean criminal activity sadly.

If he's telling the truth, that's one hell of a hard life lesson to learn. The embarrassment would be hard enough without anybody else knowing about it. Kids need to assume everyone on line is a 300lb middle aged bald man until they've seen someone in the flesh.

Maybe it was an elaborate scheme to not let on to fake girlfriend that she was fake
