Manti Te'o's Dead girlfriend never existed?

I can buy Te'o at some point was duped, but there's no way I can see he's 100% innocent. He has lied at some point.

whether he is the dumbest person in the world and was hoaxed, or is covering for something else, or got too deep, or whatever, 3 things stick out for me since the beginning.
-He announced to the whole world that his girl was the love of his life, yet he never went to see her while she was sick. In 3 years. That tells me he was lying, delusional, or both.
-Why the hell did he call his AD. That makes no sense to me. You call family, friends, teammates, position coach, hc or whomever before you dial up the AD.
-a 3 yr "hoax" of this magnitude, with someone talking, writing, texting, and supposedly sleeping with the phone to the ear to wake up and say prayers with someone would be all consuming to the hoaxer. I mean, 3 years for a hoax?

He actually called Brian Kelly and DC Bob Diaco first and his family knew what was going on by then. He met with Swarbrick the following day.

But your point is still a good one.

To point #2: When he went to Hawaii for xmas break, he told his family. Then on the 26th told his coaches. Then on the 27th told the AD.

To point #3: Complete speculation, but look at this tweet: i hope @MTeo_5 didnt send lennay any nude pics. ronaiah prolly posted them on his piano so he can look at them while he plays @ church lmao

Is it possible that Tuiasosapa wanted to have a thing with Te'o, he said no, he wasn't gay, and this was revenge? Far fetched, but explains why someone went with an elaborate hoax.

If it's a hoax, I want to hear from the girl who dedicated 3 years of her life to screwing with Te'o's head. I mean, it takes serious dedication to talk to this guy all the time.
