Getting a call in the locker room about her death prior to the pregame speech is an instant classic and should be on the big screen one day. Iirc, he was being consoled by 10 people for a fake chick death, then gave an emotional speech to the team.

Players knew that the girl friend wasnt real but Te'o loved the attention and even enjoy the free pub and often pointed it out to players that he, himself, was all over ESPN, News, ect....

Don't know if you seen, I posted a video in this thread earlier of him in an interview and he screwed up saying she sent him a letter but she was already dead and he was trying to come up with words to correct himself. Agree, dudes a POS!

That's not right either. Said the last letter he read from her was before the Stanford game, not the last one he received.

Geesh, I know the probability of him being guilty is over 50%, but can we stop distorting facts here?

I'm 100% confident he wasn't the completely innocent victim of a 3 yr hoax with people putting in 20 hour days and sleepless nights to keep going. For 3 years. If that were to be the case, however, i could care less. He's then the dumbest human ever who didn't go see his leukemia ridden love of his life, after she had a car accident.
