Either Manti has some deep, disturbing issues and ND is in PR Damage Control mode or there is a very twisted, obsessed fan / perpetrator(s). I'll be interested to learn the final investigative findings and how it's dealt with/outcome.

Yeah, about never seeing his girlfriend. Lots of people have online relationships and don't meet them for a while.

According to the article they met face to face at Stanford, not online. The "relationship" just took place online.

The thing that makes the most sense (and I'm just brainstorming) is that she wanted to end it or something of that nature, and they were actually in a relationship, and she faked her death. Remember, he didn't go to a funeral or anything like that, and her brother made the phone call.

That, at least in my mind, makes a lot more sense than Manti Te'o killing off his fake girlfriend.

Anything goes man. He could be innocent. He could be a fool. He could be gay. I believe there is a former nfl player with the same name as the other culprit ( I can't spell tuioassaopposapopo), that came out years ago. Maybe he was going overboard to prove he was hetero so he wouldn't be brown balled from football.

I agree.

I would buy the fake girlfriend theory totally.

However, I can't buy that he would fake her death.
