Marlon Brown

It has to be him because NC has just stopped posting and all of a sudden this kid starts posting like NC used to.

You're propably right. Everything this kid says makes me think he is from Brentwood Academy(NC is from Morristown) but I guess he could be making it all up.

five stars can be ranked on pure athletiscism and if that is so than he will come around like a tetherball eventually

that is the utter truth. you couldn't name one five star that hasn't or isn't in the NFL making 700 million dollars a day because of their pure athleticism

Marcus Vick, Kai Parham, Gerald Riggs Jr, Ricardo Hurley, Nathan Rhodes, Maurice Clarrett, JT Mapu, etc. That was just from the 2002 class and was just a few. We can keep going.

Back to the topic. I'm not sold on Marlon just yet.

yeah, too much raw talent for me. i think he is a good name to have on a commit list but would get lost in the shuffle once he got on campus because he would be too much of a project trying to polish into a great receiver that knew how to take full advantage of his large frame.

Wouldn't surprise me if Marlon gets lost in drills at USC this week..

I don't think this is NEWCOACH

He actually makes some good points but he is far more annoying that NEWCOACH. If I see that he posted last in a particular thread, I choose to not open it because it will be a waste of wireless internet.

Sorry to revert back to the NEWCOACH investigation, I just saw this post.

Rivals has some video clips up from the USC camp this week.

It doesn't appear that it was a great camp for Brown, but I think he held his own out there.

On an unrelated note, Devon Kennard is an unbelievable talent at defensive end. Rivals has USC and Arizona St. as his top two, but I would love to see the Vols stay in the race for his services.

Cliff Harris looks like a lock-down cover corner...he's probably a future Trojan though.

Why would you say that? I have no idea who NewCoach is. Did I say something wrong?

You post the same as he does and as much if not more. I have a screenshot of the entire page from yesterday, last post was you and none were more than 3 words and mostly smileys. Pub is for post count not the recruiting forums.

Well, for your information, I'm not him. And sorry for violating your "forum laws". I'll work on being a better poster for you. :salute:

See, I posted 23 words above. You're such a great teacher!!

I've seen Marlon Brown play and he is a great High School player, but not enough seperation for college. He will struggle against faster Db's

For the posters who like to say Brown is overrated, I'll give you some more ammo. Rivals released their top five category rankings for WRs. Brown was not in the top five of best deep threat, best hands or best after catch.
But he was number one in best athlete.

And only because he will play BB in college as well as football.

i think he is overrated(obviously) but i could be wrong... nothing wrong with having an alvin harper type again.

with his height...seems like a mike williams type...great college potential, but wont make it to the league. I wonder if he could bulk up into a TE type. anyone remember todd yoder from vandy?

he plays nothing like Mike Williams and the whole TE thing is part of the reason we didn't land P. Turner isn't
