with his height...seems like a mike williams type...great college potential, but wont make it to the league. I wonder if he could bulk up into a TE type. anyone remember todd yoder from vandy?

I pondered over thought of us having a Cornelius Ingram type player on our team, and I think him or Abrams-Ward would fit the role perfect if either didn't mind adding around 20lbs.

EJAW looks like he could put the weight on better. I would love to have an Ingram type player.

I think there's maybe some unwarranted panic over all this. There are a lot of 6'5" guys that have to be taught how to run a 40. UT's trng program has done a good job helping undercoached runners reach their potential.

Are there any published details on how that camp went not just for Brown but for the others?

I haven't seen a whole lot on it. I found this:

ESPN - Barkley locks on with big targets at USC Rising Senior Camp - Insider

The other big receiver in attendance was Marlon Brown (Memphis, Tenn./Harding Academy). Now when we say big, we mean that figuratively and literally. The undecided Tennessee native is a highly sought-after recruit, but he is also a good-looking prospect on the hoof. With a tall, muscular frame, Brown looked the part. He dropped some balls along the way, but all-in-all he had a good day, making some nice grabs. Like Jeffrey, Brown showed he can use his big frame to outmuscle defenders and make some tough grabs.

Both Under Armour All-Americans stood out both in appearance and play and probably got USC fans hoping for a day when those two line up together to make a formidable pair.

that's what you want, a guy that will out muscle someone when the ball's in the air.

Yea Yoder plays for the Skins and had a decent season last year stepping in when Cooley got hurt. He is a good blocking TE, but not on the same level as Cooley/Witten/Heap/Gates

This was part of an article from Rivals today talking about MB.

Nunes decision made quite the impression on Brown, and Nunes has been doing his best to make sure he's throwing to Brown for the next four years.

"It definitely helps Tennessee," Brown said. "He wants me to come, and he's telling me that it would be awesome with me, him and Je'Ron Stokes."

I think the Nunes comittment could really help us with MB. He has been quoted as saying he wants to play with a good young quarterback.

He also mentioned at the end of that article that his only two scheduled official visits right now are USC and us. He doesn't know where he'll take the other 3.

It just said he wasn't planning on a decision anytime soon. I could see him committing on signing day.

How can you pass up wearing the Orange and playing with Nunes and Stokes while 106k watch?

SoCal has it all so if we get beat out by them at least it's not by Bama or UF

The state's top prospect, Harding Academy wide receiver Marlon Brown (6-5, 205), visited UCLA last Tuesday.
Brown, the No. 2 wide receiver prospect in the nation according to Rivals.com, participated last Wednesday and Thursday in a prospect camp at USC and is expected to narrow his college list later this week.

Does any one know, other than us, USC, and maybe Georgia, if he's expressed serious interest in another school? I guess he likes Florida a little too.
