How bad do we really need this guy? Any 5 star recruit would be really good to have, but is it going to be a huge deal if we dont get him?

We need to keep the top instate guys, but we are already loaded at the position of WR. If he goes to USC I won't lose any sleep, but I'm pretty sure he will come here.

He's rated as a 3* in basketball on top of being a 5* in football

one simple question... would you rather have a walk-on like Marlon Brown (rated as the #1 athletic WR in the nation) or Steven Pearl and his other unknown compadres?

Why do 5*s like Brown almost always take FOREVER to make their commitments, while a whole bunh of other good players commit so early? Do they just love the attention and drama or what?

because 5 star athletes can go to any school they want, and offers from all the top schools probably makes it harder to reduce it to one

lower rated prospects don't always have that luxury

simple answer... because they can

I can say, that is I had the chance as an athlete, I would take every single visit I could. why miss the chance to be wined and dined, not to mention see some great games.

it's just my opinion, but I see it coming to down to us and USC.....however, I have heard that he's waiting to see if Tennessee will debut a black jersey.

It's tough to choose between an Escalade from Alabama, living in your agent's mansion at USC or Clemson's 20k in cash! :birgits_giggle:

Yea, I caught that quote, too, in his video interview. Then he went on to rant about Georgia and name off some of their new players. Doesn't bode well for us, in my opinion.

Yeah, These guys have short term memory. For the big recruits that are waiting it hangs on this season. We look good on O get yards and win some big games we will land some of these guys. It is not a mystery. We need to hammer Georgia again this year and he will be rattling off the names of our guys.
